I remember seeing an article in WeirdNJ some time ago, about some guy who'd buy your socks, right off your feet, for five bucks. The local high school kids thought he was a gas- five bucks went a lot further back in the '60s than it does now, and this was a substantial addition to one's weekly allowance...

Why is finding only one sock, when you know you took both off (it's pretty obvious) less suspicious than not finding either... and thinking you must've put them someplace else?

I concur with the people who say you shouldn't steal. There's kinky fantasy, there's kinky activity between consenting adults, and then there's predatory behavior that involves non-consenting parties. Being a sock thief, unfortunately, puts one in that third category. We need to be willing to deny ourselves fetish gratification when it involves a non-consenting party.

I'm sorry, I have a very open mind, but, this to me is a tad bit sick to be stealing some girls socks, its like going through her knicker drawer and stealing her underwear. The sock sniffing is fine if thats what gets you off but to be stealing that is a different league all together.

Ok thanks for your replies. It was only the once, im really a decent guy (honest!). i

m 20, have never had a girlfriend, or done anything of a sexual nature with a girl, could never tell a girl about my fetish, so im stuck with no girlfriend for life (or untill i admitted what i like to one, which i could never do, as im way too embarrased) i guess. I just couldnt resist it when i saw it there thats all, please try to understand this.

i totally understand your pastime, shall we call it. but i think it was the stealing of the sock that was inappropriate. the stealing is what's not so hot about your encounter. that's just my description and thoughts on it.

perhaps a better way would have been to offer to give her a foot massage and during that maybe mention how beautiful her feet are. that's just an idea but it's probably better than stealing her sock.

Stealing a sock isn't the equivalent of murder or anything, no worries!

And I feel so old and patronizing for saying this, but liking to smell socks is so far down on the "weird" fetish list, one day you'll feel ok with it. Sad truth is, though, most girls your age probably will be a little freaked by it. But not all of them, guaranteed. And those are the ones you're going to want to know anyway.
