Other than the obvious buzz about Tony leaving the show etc, (huge mistake IMHO) I wondered if anyone out there had any predictions...How do YOU think it's going to end tonight?

I'm not happy about how the show's gone the past couple of seasons...
Here's what I'd like to see: tying up of loose ends. Like Paulie finally hearing back from the Russians. Jennifer Melfi's rapist finally getting what's due him. Stuff like that.

Except for that goofy ass dream segment they ran a few weeks back, I was overall really impressed with this season, but didn't care much for the past two AT ALL. I liked Adrianna and was pissed that they killed her off but what's next for Christopher? I'm thinking he has to be next, right? And I HATE that prick John that seems to be one of the few not afraid to stand up to Tony...😀

Tonight might be a shoot 'em up with Johnny Sac. Or David Chase might keep us hanging...
I'm not sure. I will be watching, though. It will be a good shift change from TV Land's "The Addams Family" marathon that they've been running all weekend, and has held Mrs. Knox spellbound. I'm not put out by it either...I watched that show when it was first run, and I loved it even then.
Hey, you gonna be on later? Maybe we can talk about it when it's over...🙂

I can't WAIT for tonight's show! 😀 Its been a great season, I'm sure it will be hell on wheels tonight. I agree with Knox, there's big trouble brewing between the bosses - I think all hell is gonna break loose!

I will make a bold prediction. Two out of these three people will get whacked on tonight's episode: the other Tony (Tony B.), Christopher, and Johnny Sack.

"Addams Family" marathon? I haven't watched that since I was a kid- didn't even realize they still ran it! I watched religiously then...Never had any interest in seeing the movie though...

Actually I don't know why I'm laughing, the spellbinding show I just finished watching was called "Faking It" on the Learning Channel, about some sheep shearing virgin from Idaho that went thru 3 weeks of extensive hairstylist traning, acting lessons, etc. so he could fool a panel of real life hairdressers into thinking he was a serious professional in a competition. What the hell is educational about that? (sighs) I wish I could get the last 60 minutes of my LIFE back...🙄

Ok, I'm over it now--back to the good stuff! Well, hmm... I guess if I get my way, Johnny Sack gets whacked (poetry!)I guess it's a given that Tony S. is going to go as well, I think that's why they reunited him with Carmella, so it would be kind of a bittersweet ending to that story line. (Plus it's a convenient way to make sure he can't go back on his solemn promise of 2 weeks ago, telling her that his "midlife crisis was over.")
Anyone else think they're grooming Steve Buschemi's character to be the new Tony S? I don't think they've convinced me yet that his character's evil enough to pull it off.

Oh and yep I'll be on later to talk to ya about it, probably going a mile a minute with my thoughts (but I guess you're used to that by now yes? 😀 ) Oh, but I have to warn you in advance, better bring your appetite in the spirit of the occssion, I just got off the phone with Britney, who's coming by for dinner. She asked me to provide the cabernet (Silver Oak) and make my grandmother's famous biscotti, she's bringing lasagne and a salad and she told me she wants us both to take a crack at YOU after the show's over 😛 ...Until then...

Is this really the LAST season of Soprono's? Tony S. won't return? 🙁 You're right Steph, that would be a huge mistake on his part. He was born for this role, most of his movies suck. I don't think Tony S. is gonna get it tonight... too obvious 😉

Well, I've not read officially that it's been renewed or not (like in the trades or anything) but if you follow some of the Hollywood gossip rags, they're saying J Gandolfini wants off to do more movies. I did enjoy him in The Mexican, thought he did good job playing against type but I agree with you--this is HIS PART (bit like Dirty Harry character for Clint Eastwood, yes?) To leave now when things are finally getting good again, I'm afraid he's making a big mistake...I hope you're right. Besides if he leaves, who's gonna whack Johnny Sack? (The others are too much followers...)

What do you think of Christopher whacking Tony B.? It would make sense, since he's been in a jealous rage over that guy from the start. Not to mention sending Adriana "away", I think he will play a pivotal role this evening. Besides, Tony S basically told Johnny Sack he could go screw himself and he would not hand Tony B over time him on a silver platter.... its gonna be interesting 😀

After the last episode two weeks ago, I was left clueless as to how they would end this season. I cannot see Tony leaving the show though.

I cannot wait for this season finale but damn, it seems like it went so fast.....only 10 episodes?! Right?! We wait a year for this season and we get rooked out on a short season. Rumor has it, next year is the last, IF that is true, then I think a "Whack"-a-thon will occur like the Gunfight at the OK Corrale! Soprano style!

Well, it did have 13 episodes this season... but I'm still left wanting more! 😀

WHOA!! I didn't see that angle coming in to play when the Feds showed up on Johnny's doorstep 😱 ! You could say Tony confronted his demons by disposing of Tony B himself, that was pretty intense! With Johnny and most of Brooklyn now in the Feds hands, the stage has been set for a mighty interesting season next year... damn, I hate the wait! 🙄

I loved the scene in Paulie's place, LOL!! The look on his face when he saw the painting, "What the F*&% is that!!" hehehe... you could say it was the catalyst in getting him to whack Tony B in the first place 😉

OMG you guys!

For the third time this weekend, my sbc/yahoo picked last nite to be difficult on me--I was DYING to get on. I DID throw a proper fit a la Tony Soprano, doing everything but throw the computer out the window. Even the cats looked at me like "who are you?" (I'm the house's "Big Pussy" LOL!)

I was blown away by the ending! I think Tony S whacked Tony B to spare him getting tortured by Johnny Sack and Co. I'm glad John got nailed and the ending cracked me up. Carmella going "OMG--your SHOES are soaking!"

Could it be a publicity stunt--that James Gandolfini wants off the show??? The way they left it, he has no choice but to come back...Maybe at the 11th hour they offered him so much $ he CAN'T leave???

Talk about a switcherou!!!!

This whole year we are following Adirana getting followed by the Feds to be a snitch on Tony and New Jersey and instead Jonny(and NY) goes down because of an snitch in HIS group!!!
Amazing switch...I didn't see it coming...AND of course you realize that Tony B didn't have to be killed after all!!
Oh and Dr. Melfi finally got it right!!! Sat Tony's ass down and let him have it...

They definitly went the non-bloody route to the finally...if this year was the last it might have ended very differently...

When this year was about to be filmed James Gandolfini wanted more money and made a big stink but everything was resolved between him and HBO and 10 episodes were agreed on...actually be reason for the big year off, they don't start filming again until March of next year, so that all the actors can work on other films and projects.

You're right that in the end, Tony B didn't need to be whacked after all. This, more than anything, probably made Tony S more sick than he was before!! I thought it was a brilliant ending... rest assured, there WILL be a season 6! 😀
