Spin brushes vs. normal electric toothbrushes

I have been tickled by an electric toothbrush, and am wondering if anyone has experimented with the cheapie spin toothbrushes. ( http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.jhtml?CATID=100613&id=prod381401 ) Do they work just as well?

Cheapie spin brushes work better than regular non-electric toothbrushes, the same as other electric spin brushes, but from my understanding, nowhere NEAR as well as a name brand sonicare electric toothbrush. Lazarus and I are hoping to one day soon put this mistifying little tool of torment to the test (wow, that's a tongue twister) for ourselves and see if it does indeed live up to it's reputation here at the forum. From what I have been told, it is the end all to be all tickle torture tool.

I love my Sonicare but it's a little too powerful for some areas, whereas a spin brush or cheap electric toothbrush wouldn't be as aggressive. Not better or worse, I'd say just different...

I agree cheapie brushes work great, but the sonicare does wonders. The laughter generated from that brush is incredible. I feel sorry sometimes when I use it...NOT!!

I have heard that the NEW SOnicare is to die for...die laughing that is 😉
I have the old model and it works great and yeah it can be overwhelming...the Sonicare VIBRATES and tickles whereas the spinning heads toothbrushes mostly just spins and usually gets stuck against the skin...but they are still fun and at $6 you can't beat them...
If you use those cheapy spinner heads consider just a bit of baby oil to make the skin slick..then watch out!!!

The Sonicare is incredible on my soft soles and ticklish toes! And tommytickle is soooooooo right about the baby oil, especially on the toes. My toes are wiggling as I speak. (giggles)

I've been using a battery operated flosser between my lady friend's toes and those pretty toes of hers just wiggle with delight. The vibration itself does wonders.

Hey, Feather, thanks for the tip! Wow--it never ocurred to Me!
I second and third the motion: SonicCare IS the best. Cheap round spinners are great if you don't just drag them along the skin, but rather apply in light, feathery motions--especially effective if you have just sprayed the area with rubbing alcohol, then blown on it so it coooools down. Brrrrr...wheee!

Waterpic, anyone?

I'm glad the response has been positive to the battery operated flosser, but has anyone tried to use a waterpic on someone's feet? I suggest it be done outside where the water won't get all over the carpet. I use a waterpic on my teeth and it tickles. Imagine the possibilities! By the way, the only drawback to the cheapie spin toothbrush is that it can make a bit of noise. My lady friend likes me to tickle her late at night well into the early morning knowing my touch will lull her into a state of relaxation...until that spinning toothbrush goes whirrr and disrupts the proceedings.I guess if you're not intending to go to sleep then it'll be alright. Depends on the circumstances.

think my ticklish soles would care if it was a $6.00 vibrating toothbrush or the Sonicare ...I would be between paradise & tickle hell as I saw that thing inching closer..closer hhehehe My gawd I can almost feel it now ...god help me once the spins land on my soft smooth soles and toes 😱

The problem with my tickle lady friend is that she does have a boyfriend...and if I appeared to wanna get her, he'd begin wanting to get me, and I don't mean by tickling! That's why I'd rather find a spinning toothbrush that sounded more like, "MMMMMMMMMMMMMMwe'resuchgoodplatonicfriendszzzzzzzzzzzz..."

$6 brush works great with lube

My 'lee found the cheap spin-brush quite effective after I'd lubed her soles with plenty of Astroglide. But to be straight, anything tickles like jehosophat once her soles are slick...
