.....for those of you who did not see them, I did a series of spoof posts with the same titles as some of the current threads, all of which ended with a reference to the fact that ENGLAND ARE THE WORLD CHAMPIONS OF RUGBY!!! sadly this seems to have gone down badly with the moderators who have removed them. Shame on you all who are responsible!!! surely a little tolerance should have been in evidence on this great sporting occasion for ENGLAND? is it my fault you got knocked out two weeks ago?

Come on you mods!! get used to it ok? we are the world champions!!!

First off, an apology. I went to quote one of Red's posts and accidentally edited it. (That's what happens when you Mod when you first wake up.) I'm very sorry, really.

The post in question basically stated Red's ongoing exhuberance over England's win and compared rugby to American football as not being played by...

"...wait for it...a bunch of sissies in girl's blouses and body armor."

To which I was trying to reply (and quote):

"Yes, but this is why American football players aren't retarded by age 28!"

Half a dozen or so posts with deceptive titles designed to mislead users so they click on them are not jokes. They are an annoyance and meet my definition of Spam.

For low speed internet users, a thread load can average a minute or more. It's gets annoying for those forum members to keep discovering other things in threads then what they expect. It wastes thier time.

This was made even more annoying as there was already a thread here in the GenDis forum covering the topic of this sporting event. A thread that users who have no interest in sports can choose to avoid as it's properly titled, they lost that option on all those other threads.

Spamming of the forum in this way is uncool. I understand that this was done in humor and no real damage was intended, but don't do it again.
