I feel your pain man. Ottawa had a chance to step up and sweep the Sabres. Such is the bread of an every day life eh?

I will say this though. Every team keeps playing the way they're playing now, it'll be Ottawa and Detroit in the final. 😉

Well guy, I hope it is a 7 game serries, with lots of OT. I want the Ducks to win it simply because (under those conditions) the Sens could do to them what they did to the Canucks.
 
Well, now I have to hope it goes 7...that was a tough one yesterday...but that's the way the puck bounces sometimes....pun intended.

Well, the wings had a good season, real good season actually. I think Datsyuk and Zetterberg matured as players and took big steps forward. The Wings should be a top team for years to come.

Although dissapointed, i'm really looking forward to watching the finals. I don't have a preference as to who I want to win, I just hope it goes 7!
 
Ottawa vs. Anaheim for the Stanley Cup. Wow. Don Cherry called it on Day 1. lol

Ottawa wins if they can penetrate that defense and move Giguere.

Anaheim wins if they can stop the top line and put pressure on Emery.

Actually, I'm hoping for a quick series, like 5 or less, so I don't have to worry about what happens while I'm at NEST. lol Deep down inside, my head says Anaheim, but my heart says Ottawa. Either way, it'll be a good series.

After beating New Jersey and Buffalo in 5 games I think the sens will beat the ducks. Both teams have good goal tenders. I hope Ottawa wins, the cup needs to be back in Canada atleast once before I die.

You don't make it this far if you aren't the best in you divition Shell Head, so I'm saying Sens in 7. Of course I'd say Sens in 5 if it was out of 5, or 3 if it was out of 3 or...
 
According to most major betting sites and sports journalists I've checked out, the odds on favourite to win are Sens in 6 games. Which means the Stanley Cup will be awarded while I'm at NEST. :cry1:

Anaheim is small favorite to win the series according to the sites ive checked out.
 
Oh yeah...the finals still have to be played..

The NHL and NBA...well, I guess sports in general have really suffered this year due to all these long layoffs between games. For a team to play well it's better to play games closer together so teams can get into a rhythm.

Both NHL finalists have been sitting around for almost 6 days...and with how little coverage the NHL already gets no one has a clue the playoffs are still going on. This series won't be good until game 3 or 4 when teams get their legs back.

These games lose their luster because we have to wait so long for the games to be played. I didn't even watch the National Championship game between OSU and Florida because of the wait...yeah, i'm ranting, lol.

I hope this is a great series...i'm not rooting for either team..I do get the feeling Ottawa is destined to win though.
 
Damn it!

Damn Sens, they had everthing going smooth till mid 2nd period. Man, well the bookies did say Sens in 6, and so far the have beaten a couple of "First One Wins." When they beat the sabres is was after Buffalow had scored the first goal, and the team that scored first had won. Now the Ducks have won the first game, so the Sens have to do it again.
 
Disapointed

I'm more then a little disapointed that my guys lost tonight, but I am not disaponted in there effort. One bad bounce can chainge the out come for any team. I still have faith, they are my team, and the Force is Strong in Emery. Even the most devoted Duck fans have to admit, if that puck zigged instead of zagged and that was an overtime game.

Thats it I'm shaving...

One of the things I have been doing for luck is only shaving between rounds. Well that may have worked for the first three, but it's not doing anygood this time. So tomorrow I will shave, and see if that helps.
 
Perhaps not inspiring your opponents with cheap shots...

I don`t think Daniel Alfredsson helped much with that crap at the end of the second period.He`s lucky to still be around. If Pronger had pulled that cheap garbage,he`d be gone for the series.As it was,he served a suspension for a pretty lame call to begin with.

I still hope it goes seven!

BAD BET. I feel so sorry for Emery. This guy gave his team 3 solid rounds, and now that he is tired they are doing nothing to pay him back.
