Ok.. general (tickling) knowledge time....
Me being me, I get into a lot of tickle fights with friends of mine, whether just hanging around, or in a pub, or, well you get the point. I have a tendency to win, or at least escape, even if outnumbered (which is usual, as its pretty attention getting seeing a grown man squeak) - though not always - as Im pretty quick, and have excellent hand/eye co-ordination. Hey, I rock.
But... Went swimming today, and got messing around the same as usual, only to find out that of the 3 people I was "fighting" with, 2 of them suddenly became non-ticklish underwater, while the other became far less ticklish, although she still reacted.
Myself on the other hand, stayed just as bad as ever. The various ticklefights that ensued were short, and the results were fairly predictable. Something about taking the opportunity, I think.
I'd never noticed this before? Is it usual? Am I UNusual for not having this dampening (heh) effect?
