How do you delete a started thread?

How do you delete a started thread? I know how you can delete a post, but how can you delete a thread that you started?

I doubt if you can. Only moderators, as far as I know, can delete entire threads.
 
To prevent a user from deleting an entire thread with significant content by removing the first post, only a mod is allowed to delete the first post in a thread. Report the post and one of us will get it.
