Motorola to release RAZR tattoos

Motorola isn't done accessorizing the RAZR--the company will soon start shipping laser-etched (AKA tattooed) RAZR handsets. The artwork was designed by Ami James, best known from the TV show Miami Ink.

Motorola first got the idea for tattoos after the pink RAZR outsold all expectations. Since that time several other colors have shipped, but the pink model continues to sell well. There should be several tattoo designs, but the design shown at right is the only one that has been shown off.

Look for tattooed RAZRs starting next month. No word if the new KRZR or RIZR handsets will also go under the needle.

steph babe..i don't see a picture...but the idea sounds cool....i never heard of Miami Ink....sorry..

Oh it's this very cool show about real tattoo artists living and working in Miami. I guess you'd call it a reality show, but it's not one of those stupid ones. A lot of the customers are featured too--people who want memorials of deceased family members, one gal who survived a violent attack and wanted to pretty up an ugly reminder, it's really interesting.
Ami James is a way famous MALE artist who works on the show. Here's the link and the pic--thanks for catching my "my bad" hon!
