Experimenting with file size (old TC Video preview)

It looks like I can attach videos up to about 5 MB in size. I'll have to figure out what to do with the couple hundred videos that are bigger than that...

This is an old TC preview for "Get the Secretary" but ends with a random run of several other clips.

I don't think so, but like I always say, it's hard to tell from titles and a lot of the old stuff doesn't throw a preview icon in file explorer. Fingers crossed...

Top priority for now is somewhere between getting my old stuff out on GT and finding models for the new C4S store. But I do plan to get back to this as well as the photo thread eventually...

You could use that function on the VLC Player that'll let you record just a part of the video. Then some of your videos that are bigger than 5 MB could be broken up into smaller sections that can be attached. Of course if you have videos of 50 MB or more that might be too many small sections to work with but it could work for some of your content.

Have you ever seen the homemade video of the girl on her 21st birthday tied spread eagle to a futon, and 10 of her friends tickle her for 21 seconds each? If you (or anyone else) has that one laying around somewhere I'd gladly pay for it.

As mentioned in the Discussion forum (http://www.ticklingforum.com/showth...uck-treasure-trove-of-quot-vintage-quot-video), as I've been working on the vintage photo thread, I started finding lots of short videos mixed in with the pics. It turns out I have over 1,000 of these downloaded between 1996 and 2002, running between a second and maybe a few minutes long, from lots of different sources.

So here's my plan to share...

I'll start posting the videos here in a parallel "16 month" thread, along with a thumbnail from each (to meet the Images forum requirement). I'll start with this test post of the earliest video (a 2 second quickie from Feetonline downloaded in 1996).

I'm not sure if I'll keep posting the videos one at a time or batch them together a little. For now, I just want to see if this works.

I won't post anything that I can't get to play on my computer, using the native program or VLC. This one's an AVI file that works for me with the VLC player.

I'm assuming that after 20-25 years, these are all good to share. But if you're an original producer and see something you'd prefer I take down, please let me know and I'm happy to remove it with apologies.

Also, I'm not sure if this will take 16 months or not...I've just gotten used to seeing that in the title.
