"Nature Boy" Ric Flair defeated "Hands of Stone" Ronnie Garvin to win the World Heavyweight title for a fifth time

March 19th: Argentina land troops on South Georgia Island in The Falklands Islands, setting the stage for The Falklands War with Great Britain.
 
1983: February 2 - Giovanni Vigliotto goes on trial for multiple counts of bigamy involving 105 women.
 
WE SHOULD BE ON 1986.

March 25th: Out Of Africa wins the Best Picture Award at the 58th Academy Awards held in Los Angeles, California.
