The Continous Story Thread

Maximus said "I am always nice to everyone. No worries."

Argentum said "Be nice to his pet bunny Cuddles too. He always takes his pet bunny with him. Says it's an ancient monster slaying bunny.... anyway be nice. Minst is a great warrior even though a bit odd."
 
The Giant said "I think Minst will fit right in with us. Let's be honest. We are a bit of an odd group right? Me included a Giant and then a smart mouthed talking sword?" The Giant chuckled. Cuddles sounds really cool!
 
Argentum laughed "I guess you are right. The rabbit is special though. Me and Minst have been in some nasty nasty battles and i'll be damned that rabbit was with him through the thick and thin of each one and never ever got a scratch on him. "
 
However Argentum continued For the rabbit may have an invisible external shield cloaking him from harm, it’s the internal damage that is hurting him the most.
 
Interesting said the Giant. Maybe the rabbit doesn't show any signs of damage but at some point the damage inside that is caused will cause him to be defeated suddenly with the right attack.
 
Argentum said " However he does it I think he will be fine for awhile. Bunny has been with Minst for like 50 years. Probably be with him another 50 before the little guy shows any wear. Ultimately we all have only a given amount of time on this Earth."
 
The giant agreed with Argentum by saying there’s never enough time to do or say all the things that we would wish but the thing is to do as much as you can in the time that you have, remember time is short and suddenly you’re not there anymore
 
Oxxen said "Yea my gramps use to say live everyday like it will be your last ... one day you will be right"
 
Maximus said "Let's have fun everyday through the good, the bad and the ugly! That's what makes life worth living."
The Giant chuckled "Who knew a talking sword could give us life lessons?"
 
Xenos said "Well let's press on and find Minst and then get Verdis, otherwise none of us will have any life at all to worry about lol."

Hyacin said "Don't forget Cuddles"

Xenos sighed "Yes and Cuddles too."
 
The group continued onward. Making progress. Suddenly they heard a loud bang that startled everyone. The Giant asked "What was that?"
 
Xenos said "I am not sure let's investigate carefully"

Argentum said " Let me head out first. I know this area quite well."

Xenos said "Ok just be careful.:
 
The group followed Argentum from a safe distance. They spotted something from a distance running behind a bunch of trees. The Giant said "Look over there." Was it a friend or a foe? Argentum ran in the area of the movement they saw.
 
Argentum runs to the source of the movement. Suddenly there is a immensely bright blue flash and then a loud slashing noise. Argentum comes out holding his sword with bright fiery blood dripping from it. Argentum says "Problem solved. It was mid level Fire Imp. Likely sent to spy on us, Likely by the witch. I suggest we move quickly and gather up whoever and whatever we need."
 
The Giant said "wow the witch really wants to play mind games with us huh?" Maximus said "well she can never outsmart me." The Giant said "Lead the way my friends." as the group continued their journey.
 
Xenos said " It's more complicated I fear. She sent a low level demon just to get a sense of who we have and how strong we are. This is a chess match. We need to be careful"

Argentum said "so should I have left the demo alone"

Xenos replied "No you did the right thing. Even a low level Imp can reek havoc. So we had to get rid of it. All I am saying is this witch ain't a dummy. So we need to plan things carefully. Maybe trick her ourselves."
 
The Giant said "That sounds like a good plan. What do you suggest we do? Do we make her wait longer than she's expecting? Should we hide out somewhere and lay low for a while?"
 
Xenos said "i was thinking maybe a specialized weapon or some new ally she would not be able to sense. We will have to all think on it. If anyone gets an idea speak up and let's discuss it."

Obsidian said " i think I have a idea. I know of a group of tiny magical creatures, they owe me a favor since i saved there kingdom once. They would be hard for the witch to detect since they are so small...plus they are magical as well. They can be fierce opponents. You may know them as Pixies"
 
"Pixies?" The Giant sounded intrigued. How small are they? And where can we find them? Boy if I was leading this group we'd be in trouble. I would have run towards the witch by now and already been defeated without all this strategic planning. I'm not used to dealing with all of this, said the Giant.
 
Oxxen said "Pixies....PIXIES....We got bunnies and now pixies....can things get any cuter lmao"

Obsidian said "Yea I know they are adorable with cute names but they are very powerful magic users. Could give us that surprise edge. To answer the Giants question they are the size of a small butterfly. Their leader is named Sparklies"

Hyacin said "Awww how adorable"

Oxxen said "I think I feel nauseous lol"
 
The Giant said "Sorry Maximus looks like you're not going to be the cutest one in the group anymore once we find Sparklies."
 
Maximums said "That's ok ... provbably would have lost that title when the bunny came on anyway"

Obsidian said "As luck would have it the Pixies are close close by. I suggest we seek them out at night. Be easier for us to see them and being cast about it might throw the witch off."

Xenos said "Love the way you think Obsidian ...let's do it"
 
Ok said the Giant. I guess we can take a quick break and then wake up before nightfall.
 
Obsidian said "it's realm sort of on our way anyway so I it shouldn't be a hassle."
 
The Giant followed the lead of his new friends. Maximus said "Me sleepy." The Giant said "Wait swords get tired?"
