The Continous Story Thread

Maximus said "Don't you want to hear my plan."
The Giant said "I'm afraid to ask."
 
Xenos said "Well he is a sword so he shpuld know something about fighting. Never hutprts to listen."

Hyacin said "Ok I am in too. Better not involve polishing"
 
The Giant was out voted. "Fine".
Maximus said. "Well my idea is that the Giant and I can distract the witch and attack her. We will take her attention away first and you guys can do your thing since you are more skilled than the Giant as to how to attack the witch."
The Giant said "So your plan is to sacrifice me as a guinea pig?"
Maximus said "Well if you want to put it that way..."
 
Argentum says "Hmmmm isn't the whole point of this battle is to remove the curse off the Giant. Be sort of nice if he was alive at the end to enjoy it."

Hyacin says "Well at least it wasnt a plan where all the ladies take off their clothes"

Xenos said " Well the distraction part of the idea is good but we are not gonna be sacrificing anyone. We need the power of illusion perhaps to distract the witch"
 
"Illusion" said the Giant. "Now you're talking."

Maximus said "I have illusions of women every single night."
 
StarBlossom said " Hmmm ate you dreaming of me too baby. Maybe you need extra hard polishing."

Hyacin rolls her eyes

Xenos clears his throat and says "ok back on point anyone have any ideals"
 
Maximus said "What if we set up a whole camp out and make the witch think we're here while we quietly head out and leave everything up as if we're coming back? And she keeps waiting for us here while we head far off track?"
 
Xenos said " i think I like that one. Let's do it as we leave for as cover to get Spreen though. We will be vunerable when we leave forest cover. So if we can trick her into attacking a fake encampment we get Spreen easily."

Oxxen says " That's using the old noggin Maximus. Or whatever it is you call the thing a sword thinks from."
 
Maximus said "I am kind of brilliant."
The Giant said "Definitely the most brilliant talking sword I've ever met."
Maximus said "How many talking swords have you met big guy?"
The Giant said "1."
Maximus said "Wise guy. Well that does make me special though."
 
Xenos says "Ok we ate near the edge of the forest.... let's build this fake encampment then get to Spreen"

Mortem says "I can cloak us till we get the encampment done an head to Spreen"

Xenos said " Awesome"
 
The Giant tried to hold his gut in.
Maximus said "I don't think you can hold it in enough for him to cover us big guy."
 
Mortem laughed "Don't worry bro. I got you covered. I have cloaked whales and elephants."

Xenos said "Great. Let's get started before the witch catches on to us."
 
The Giant said "Did he just call me a whale?"
Maximus said "No he said or an elephant. Which is worse?"
The Giant said "What a wiseass talking sword."
 
Mortem sighs "I didn't mean you were as big as a whale or an elephant. I am just saying the spell encompasses a large enough area so size is not an issue."
 
The Giant said "Oh right. Sorry I think Maximus is a bad influence on me. How long does it take to cloak us? Just a minute?"
 
Mortem says "speel is pretty fast.... just s moment or two. But it will only last a few hours. So we need to have another ready before I cast it. So we can make encampment at forests edge. I cast spell then we get to Spreen quickly"
 
"Ok" said the Giant. Anything else we need to do before we do this? Any stops for trail mix? Just asking for a friend.
 
Oxxen said "Ayyy I think we have enough trail mix to last till next century"

Xenos said " We just gotta get Spreen. Unless anyone's else knows someone close by we can use and trust. Otherwise it's near battle time."
 
The Giant nodded "Ok let's do this. Start what you got to do so we can get moving along to Spreen."
 
The group quickly builds a fake encampment and Mortem casts his cloaking spell.

Xenos says " i want to thank you all for helping out Giant friend. Things will likely get hectic from here but I wanted to thank you all personally for standing up to this evil. I couldn't ask for a better group. You are now...we are now all close friends. Wait no more like a family. Whatever happens know that I will always cherish this moment and all of you. Now let's get Spreen and kick some Witch butt"
 
The Giant looked at Xenos and was amazed at how he spoke as if he and the giant had become such good friends (and now the whole group). The Giant said "I thank all of you for your help and no matter the outcome I will never forget any of you. I don't know what my past life was like and if/how happy I was but despite all of this mess caused by the witch it has made me appreciate the amazing people that I have met through it. Onward" said the Giant.
 
Maximus said "...and your super amazing talking sword which you will keep and treasure forever and ever and ever."

Hyacin said "Well that group hug moment is gone now lol"

Oxxen said "Thank god for that."
 
The Giant followed along. Maximus said "Let's do this thing. I'll make this witch my bitch."
 
Xenos said :"Let's not get cocky. These Dark Shadow Witches are quite powerful. We will have our hands full. So we need everyone to do their part"l
 
"Oh right" said Maximus.
The Giant rolled his eyes.
"Let's just let Xenos lead the way Maximus."
Maximus said "If you insist."
