The Continous Story Thread

The group arrives at Spreens invention shop.

"Take a look around see if there is anything you like." says Spreen

Argentum says "What's this thing... looks like a missle."

Spreen says "That's what it is. An air powered super sonic missle."

Argentum says "Can't it take a different payload. I have some magical shards of holy might. Been looking for a way to blast them into something very evil:

Spreen says " Yea the middle can deliver any payload at the front just pack your shards in there and fire when ready. Nice thing too it's a shoulder launch middle so not so big."

Argentum smiles "Awesome"

 

[Edge]

The Giant looked around and saw the missle. "Wow that looks awesome." "What do you suggest I take?"

Spreen says "Hmmm I remember from some fights big warriors like to use nets to ensnare smaller foes and take them out. I did ake polymeric air net... light as a feather but the fibers are very strong and will enrangle up ypur foes'

 

[Edge]

"Nets!" said the Giant. "Maybe I can use that on Maximus when he doesn't stop talking."

Hyacin said "Don't think a net is gonna help with that. Probably need a ball gag."

StarBlossom said "Oooo kinky"

Maximus said "Sometimes I feel so unwanted."
The Giant said "Oh we don't know what we'd do without your humor."

Argentum laughed "It wouldn't be the same here without you bro"

Hyacin laughed as well " Yea I need someone to pick on. For a sexist sword you are adorable"

"What else do we need?" said the Giant as he had a mouthful of trail mix.

'Take a look around. See what ypu want to try. I would suggest things that are not too big though to make it easier to bring into battle" said Spreen

 

[Edge]

"What's this?" asked the Giant holding a knife-like type object.

Spreen said " That's the rocket throwing knife. If you press the red button while you throw it. It rockets toward your target and hits with a tremendous force. That's a great thing to have handy in battle"

 

[Edge]

"I'm taking that." said the Giant. "I think we're all supplied up now."

Spreen said "Great. Anything else anybody might like. Once we head out it will be time to head for barrel. So this your last chance"

 

[Edge]

Maximus said "I was born ready."

 

[kurchatovium]

Spreen said " I guess we should head out then . Do we know where the witch is?"

Xenon said "Very good question. She has bee launching minor attacks on us. So she could have moved"

Mortis said "No worries I can cast a spell to track her but once I do we need to do the battle quickly. So good to make our plans first."

 

[Edge]

The Giant said "I can distract her. I'm the biggest one here and she cast a spell on me. She will know I am looking for revenge."

 

[kurchatovium]

Argentum said " I like the way you think bro. Yes maybe the rest of us can hide or be cloaked by s spell and then unleash on her. She won't go down easy but I like us getting the upper hand first. The best defense is a stunning offense."

Spreen says "Be ready for anything. These Shadow witches can suddenly turn into your Mom or your long lost love. So keep that in mind."

 

[Edge]

The Giant said "This witch ain't going to beat me with mind games. She tried to ruin me. I'm going to help all of you defeat her."
Maximus said "We will make the witch our bitch."

Spreen said "Excellent That's the attitude you need to beat her. If she is left uncheck she will ruin lots of people lives. We need to put an end to herr"

 

[Edge]

The Giant said "So when will be ready to face her?"
Maximus stopped The Giant and said "I have a really bad feeling. Once we defeat her I don't think it will be the end but only the beginning. It may unleash other witches and demons she is associated with and they will all come after us eventually. This is going to be a long journey not just one battle."

 

[kurchatovium]

Xenos said " I think we are ready now. Time to fight."

Argentum said " The battle between good and evil is always on going. It's up to brave souls like us to help and protect the innocent. The defeat of the witch is a step which is part of a long journey to a better day for all of us. Freedom from evil isn't free it has its price. A price that brave souls have to pay"

 

[Edge]

The Giant had been thinking this was all leading up to one battle with an evil witch and that everything would go back to normal but realized now that was far from the truth. And that his past (whatever it may have been) didn't really matter now. What mattered was his present (with his new friends) and his future (this was his calling to help good fight evil going forward). "Thank you for clarifying this for me. Now I know that my past isn't as important as is my future with all of you."
Maximus said "Besties for life!"

Argentum said "We don't always get the path in life we would like, sometimes we must take the path we need too."

Hyacin said "You can't control everything. You just need to control the things you can wisely"

Oxen says "Ya need to remember the past but not dwell in it lad. Always look forward to what lies ahead"

Maxumius said " Today is tomorrow's yesterday"

Mints said "wow that is deep stuff coming from a talking sword."

 

[Edge]

"Now that we're all on the same wave length for the short term and long term let's take the next step" said the Giant.

Xenos said " Ok lets grab all the goodies we want from Spreen inventor shop and head out then Mortis can cast his divination spell and we head to where the witch is pronto. We need to get their fast."
