The Continous Story Thread

The Giant bowed his head. "Without you Xenos I would not be here today."
 
The Giant shook off his distraction, and threw Maximus right at the witch's forehead.
 
Maxumius yells "Rockets in Pockets...... well I really don't haveockets but that the phrase they gave me.... No matter"

Maximus start glow an immensely bright cold color then shoots out at lightning fast speed leaving a trail of sparks and fire behind him. He hurdlesvtoward the witch before she even sees what's going on and blasts through her head coming out the other end.

"Takes more then that to kill me you bastards" yells the witch

"Just getting warmed up darling" says Maximus

Maximus turns around abruptly and shoots the other eye of the witches head coming out the other end. The witches head is a bloody mess now.

"That all you got you miserable piece of crap sword." Yells the witch

"Time for the Grand Finale witch bitch" says Maximus

"BOOM BOOM OF DOOM" yells Maximus

The sword hits the witch dead center in the chest and then releases a powerful explosion literally blowing the witch to a billion pieces"

Maximus says " Dumb witch zero Adorable sword 1"

The witch is dead.... a new serene calm falls over the land as all her evil is undone...

And the Giant strays to change....
 
The Giant comes back looking different. With the transformation of power from Xenos. The Giant looks at himself. Touches himself. Maximus says "Wow you look like a leader now instead of a wimp."
 
Argentum says "You are looking super cool brother. The witches curse is gone. Guess we can't call you Giant anymore lol"
 
The Giant said "Well I think I need a name."
Maximus said "Just don't take Maximus junior."
 
Verdis said "Maybe you should wait a bit. Maybe who you were will come back to you as well as what your name was The curse was just lifted so might take a bit of time to remember."
 
"That makes sense" said the Giant. "If it wasn't for Xenos I don't know where I'd be now." "I only wonder what evil will lurk next that we will have to battle."
 
Argentum said "I am sure it is regrouping. That witch was very powerful. Her demise means they need to restructure and revamp their group. We dealt them a great blow and that's a good thing. We will need to rethink things ourselves and get and be easy for whatever comes next."
 
The Giant stood tall and said "Well Friends. I think we need to set up our own home base together."
 
Argentum said "Very good idea. We also need to get you trained as the new lightning mage to replace Xenos. We dealt The Dark Shadow Covenant a heavy blow but they are not gonna fold up and go away. They will likely come after us at some point."

Spreen said " When you pick a location for our base I have some heavier pieces I invented that should protect the home base."
 
The Giant said "Great Spreen. Any specific area you suggest we set up base since you know the area so well?"
Maximus said "We need to stock up on trail mix when we set up our base."
 
Argentum laughed "well he isn't a giant anymore so I think light rail mix bill will be lower lol"

Spreen says "I think i know a spot. It is raised area that allows us to survey what's going on and also make for an easily defensible position if the situation arises"

Oxxen says "Sounds great let's check it out."
 
The Giant said "Smart to have a good elevated home base for so many reasons."
 
Argentum says "Yes I agree. Let's check the place out. We need to start getting ready"

Minst says "What the rush.... are you sensing something?"

Argentum says "Yes. Something very dark is stirring about. Not sure what it is"

Verdis says "I know what you mean I am sensing it too"

Argentum says "The war against evil is constant. We must be vigilent"

Somewhere in a dark place where even light itself fears to dwell is a dark presence...

Upon a throne of skulls made of all the races sits a tall slender figure cloaked in a robe as black as his heart. All one can see are pair of dark skeletal boney hands and a face that is not a face but blackness with dark swirling cloud of dark purple. A small being approaches the shadowy prescence...

"The witch you empowered oh mighty King Of Darkness has been killed. She is gone."

Pyreal speak in deep resonating voice that shakes the very essence of space "She was a moronic clown.. I gave her powers beyond belief and she wasted my precious gifts on stupid curses on pathetic creatures. Her job was to serve me. To bring the Earth to me. Not to play child like games to serve her own bloated ego, i wish i could have killed her myself her death would be a 1000 times worst. The did her a favor. It seems we now have heroes to deal with Rhenquist. I truly in hate heroes even more then I hate the light and nature and love and all the puny misrablevemotions those on Earth cherish."

Rhenquist says "I will help you oh master how ever I can. I am here to serve you will."

Pyreal says " I thank you Rhenquist loyalty as great as yours is a rare thing. I need to plan on what I must do next. Bring The Dark Shadow Covenant to me to see what we have to work with. True despotic evil is so hard to find."

Rhenquist say "Yes Master"

The Giant says "I have a really bad feeling like I'm sensing danger. Why did I never sense anything before this battle with the witch?"
Maximus said "Maybe it's your imagination big guy."
 
Argentum says"Xenos believed in you my friend, He knew you were special. There is more to being a mage then just casting spells. It's being aware of everything. Having a sense of everything. Trust your instincts. Trust yourself. It just might save all of our lives."
 
"Thank you Argentum. Friends I sense danger. A danger that makes the danger we just dealt with seem like child's play. We must immediately head for our shelter that we spoke about and make it our own."
 
Argentum says "You are most welcome bro"

Verdis says "I am picking up on something too. I think you have a clearer sense of it though."

Oxxen says "Let's make our way to Spreens area and set up our base. I think we could pick up a few more Dwarven warriors on the way if you are want. We passing by a few friends of mine."

Argentum says "More warriors sounds very good to me lol"
 
The Giant said "We can use all the help we can get."
Maximus said "And all the trail mix we can get."
 
Oxxen said " Excellent. There names are Bol, Baal, and Bane. They will help us a ton."

Meanwhile back in the dark underground lair....

Rhenquist says "Master the Dark Covenat is here as you wished"

Pyreal says "Good. Let's see what we have to work with"

The tall (over 8 foot) slender figure arise from his throne of skulls to see the Dark Covenant. He looks them over...

Pyreal says "I am Pyrael King Of Shadows, Lord of Fear, Master of Darkness. As you know The Vile One was destroyed by these infernal heroes cause of her own selfish whims, I need a new witch to bring the Earth to its knees and bring it undr my control. So here is the deal. A contest. The winner of which will get powers 10 times greater then I gave The Vile one."

Pyreal pulls out a box made of flesh, blood and small skulls. The box is alive breathing moving staring and twisting about,

Pyreal says " This is my Dark Soul Box. It' will capture a victims heart and soul and enslave it for all eternity. A permanent hell for the victim. Just push the box on the person's chest and the box will do the rest. Nifty toy hey, each of you get one,. The first one to capture one of the heroes hearts and bring it to me wins and get the powers I mentioned. The others will serve that person."

One Dark Shadow witch jokes " Does the bunny count as a hero lol"

Pyreal eyes burn a dark purple and he grabs the jokester face with his bony hand and lifts him off the ground staring at him

Pyreal says "Do I look like a being with a sense of humor Hmmm"

Suddenly Pyreal grip tightens and the jokester face stars to twist and melt as garbled twisted screams fill the room and jokester melts into a pool of red and black liquid.

Pyrael says °Any other jokesters here"

There is deadly silence.

Pyreal says °Good. Get you boxes and capture me a soul of the miserable heroes"
 
The Giant said to Oxxen "I feel like we're going to need all the help we can get." "Let's get them." "I keep getting a sense of real danger coming...not today but soon enough."
Maximus said "Well we better get serious here then. The witch was evil enough. What could be worse than that?"
The Giant said "Don't say that. We may find out soon enough."
 
Oxxen said "Ayyy lad I feel something too. My senses aren't as keen as yours but we are gonna need a lot of help I think."

Verdis said "Yea definitely sensing something very bad.lets get Oxxens friends and set up home base fast."

StarBlossom said " I know some other eleven archers that would be glad to help. They are not so close by though."

Maximus says °Are they as cute and sexy as you hehehe"

StarBlossom said °Even cuter. We might just polish you to death."

Hyacin laughed "Nice to know Maximus is still the same ol Maximus."
 
The Giant said "I think we need Maximus sense of humor in the most serious times we face."
Maximus said "I'm the MVP."
