Argentum said "Well we certainly need Maximus for sure. He had some nifty tricks to get rid of that witch. Didnt know he had magic abilitoes."

Maximus said "Yea I got lots of tricks. In addition to being funny and cute as hell"

StarBlossom said " How many of thosevtricks have you got?"

Maximus said "Well thousand or so. Can only use them a few at a time though, i have accumalated rgen since I been around several thousand years."

Argentum said "Awesome. It sure was a big help"

Maximus said “It was much harder when I didn’t know them. There was one nasty incident involving a shopkeeper and his son, and I had to beat them to death with their own shoes.”

The Giant agreed "What would we do without Maximus? And his sense of humor?"

Argentum said " Always good to keep ones spirits up Maximus certainly does that."

Verdis said " Have you remembered your old name or decided on new one. Since you are not really a Giant anymore"

Maximus said "How about Percy P Doodlewhiz. Don't think that name is taken"

The Giant said "I think the past is the past. I need a new name. And no it's not Percy...maybe I should be called Damian."

Argentum said " Sounds wise to me Damian."

Hyacin said "Damian it is then my good friend."

Everyone in the group' shouts "Welcome friend Damian"

Maximus says "So we're just giving up on Percy P Doodlewhiz. How about Teddy T Tootenpopper'

9xxen says "I think he's made up is mind Maximus"

Maximus says "I just wanted to name something."

Minst says "Why not name our new Homebase"

Maximus said "Doesn't Damian stand for Devil."
Damian said "Better watch yourself around me now Maximus." jokingly

Hyacin said "Any name is better then Percy P Doodiewhiz or Teddy T Tootenpopper"

Argentum saud "Amen to that"

Oxxen said "Could have been worse could have said something like Harry Buttcheeks"

Damian said "I'm just glad that I won't be called the Giant anymore."

Argentum said " Well the curse is gone and that's a good thing. We got new troubles to deal with. Ahhh but such is life"

Oxxen said "So what are we calling our homebase "

Maximus said " How about Sanctuary City"

Hyacin said "That's not bad. I tjpight you would say something Fartenberry."

Maximus said "that was my second choice"

Damian said "Let's get set up in Sanctuary City friends."

Maximus yells "YAY I finally got to name something. If I didn't I was gonna change my name to Perciville P Dootywhiz"

Hyacin laughs "Well thank god that didn't happen"

Oxxen says "Ayyy that's good we avoided that. Let's head out to Sanctuary City then"

Damian led the group with Hyacin at his side. He realized the change in how he was a follower before the battle with the witch and now had become a leader. "How much farther?" As he asked that question, an animal startled them from the bushes making noise.
Maximus said "Is that a snake?"

Argentum said "That's no snake that's a spy."

Argentum quickly pills out his long sword and slashes the snakes head off. There is a vile scream as the beast comforts then burned with a bright green flame to a dark green ash"

Verdis says "Wow how did you know"

Argentum says "Snakes don't have dark purple glowing eyes"

Maximus says "Or smell this bad uck. I don't even have a stomach and I want to puke"

Argentum laughs "Evil rarely smells nice."

Hyacin says " We best get to Sanctuary City fast and set up base fast. This ain't good"

Damian said "Whoever sent the witch to get us must be seeking revenge."
Maximus said "Hell has no fury like a woman scorned...or a witch killed."

Spreen says "Let get to Sanctuary City fast. I will set up the defensive inventions I ghacve. We need to get ourselves safe."

Oxxen says " I will get my 3 brethren once we get to the Sanctuary City. That should help too."

StarBlossom says "I will put the word to out to my even sisters to come join us at Sanctuary City. "

Argentum says "Excellent. Let's all keep our eyes open for anything unusual."

The Group continued walking.
Maximus said "Are we there yet?"
Damian said "Shh. Do you hear that?"
Maximus said "I think I did."

Argentum said "What did you guys hear"

Oxxen says "Why I am getting the feeling I am prize in some sort of competition. Ain't a great feeling"

Cuddles jumps up and down and points toward the bushes toward the north.

Damian held his finger to his lips. He pointed in the direction that cuddles pointed.
Maximus said "Can we like not go near that bush?"

Argentum said in a whisper °You go left Damian, I will go right, Oxxen will go up the middle"

Verdis said in a whisper "I will cast a protection spell on you"

 

[Edge]

Damian went left. He watched Argentum go right and Oxxen go in the middle.
He saw Verdis make his move to protect them as they approached the bush.

As the three converge on the Bush there is sudden y a loud scream and a flash.

The three investigate and see only monstrous looking cube made of living skulls and decaying flesh.

Argentum says " OHHH Mortis can you take a look at this thing ....for are the death mage and this thing screams death"

Maximus says " Looks like Rubix Skulls"

Mortis looks at the comforting object.

Mortis says •Looks like a Soul Cube.... used to capture a victims soul for all eternity"

Argentum says "So it kills them..."

Mortis says "No nothing that nice. Basically it keeps then in a s
tate of hell for all eternity. Very difficult too free someone from once trapped'

Argentum says "So what do we do with it."

Mortis says "I will contain it so It can't hurt anyone. The bupig question who left it here and why did they run off'

Argentum says' I think someone from the Dark Shadow Covenant chickened out. Not sure why the only brought one."

Damian said "Wow. I wonder who brought this here."
Maximus said "Being with Damian is eternal hell for me."
Damian said "Maximus would you like to wind up in a soul cube? Because I can make it happen..."

Mortis said "Don't think Soul cubes work on talking swords."

Hyacin said "Only one way to find out for sure"

Maximus said "ok ok I'll be good. A soul cube shows up and suddenly everyone loses their sense of humor"
