Hyacin said "Well let's get you set up with some basic offensive spells. Hopefullu we can escalate the spells fairly quickly. We will see how it goes."

Argentum says "The quicker the better"

Damian said "Ok let's do it."
Maximus said "Show him how it's done."

Hyacin and Daniel go off to begin teaching Damian the ways of magic.

Somewhere in a desert Lilist roams. As she passes by the cactus they shrivel up and die. A coyote unknowingly get near her and suffers the same fate as the very life force is drained out of him.

Lilist says to herself " where to go ...you think He'll would give a GPS or something. Just have to use my senses but I will need to drain more life out of some of these pathetic living things."

 

[Edge]

After their session Damian says "Wow you guys have really taught me a lot in a short amount of time."
Maximus said "That's kind of how I am with the ladies."

Argentum says "That's why Xenos believed in you bto:

Hyacin said "Yes you are coming along quick which is good. I want to up your knowledge of some more powerful spells. I think you and we will need them. It's fast but we likely don't have tons of time"

Damian said "It'd be nice if things were just quiet for a while but somehow I get the feeling they won't be."

Hyacin said "Yea I get the same feeling as well for what it is worth. But a little peace and quiet would be nice"

Maximus said "Bed time!"
Damian said "Why do swords need to sleep?"

StarBlossom says "He sure seems to want a lot of polishing.. Didn't think he would need sleep as well lol "

Damian said "Let's rest friends. We've had a long day setting up and training."

The heroic group rests.

Somewhere in the desert lies a track of pure death. Scattered cactus and various animals with the very life sucked out of them. Not really skeletons something more bizarre, more twisted.

Lilist says to herself "I have enough energy now I can cast some spells and track down these heroes. Perhaps find The Dark Shadow covenant ad well. Not sure what to do with them. Hopefully they are useful. Not that I need them. I only need pain and death."

The group gets a good night sleep. They are exhausted. And the rest does them well. Maximus wakes up first and says "hey guys did you hear that in the bushes?"
Damian said "What?"
Maximus said "I don't know but I hope it's just a little bunny wanting to play."

"Bunnies dontbmake those kind of noises" said Minst

Argentum says "Yea but demons do. Must have been summoned by one of the witches. Everybody on guard till we destroy it."

Starblossom says "You got good ears for a sword with no ears."

Argentum says " I will bless the area that should keep at bay for now."

Damian said "I feel this is just a small preview of what's to come."

Argentum says "Sadly i think you are rigjht"

Suddenly there is a loud boom like from my cannon.

Spreen says " That's one of air cannons that went off. Let's see what happened"

Argentum says " Ok me and Oxxen will go with you to be safe"

Spreen, Argentum and Oxxen arrive to see a small pile of burning red and black ash .

Argentum kooks over the ash and says " Well that was the demon. Nice job Spreen that cannon took care of him fast."

Spreen smiles "Thanks it's a client of magic and technology that compresses air into a dense metallic state that makes for a great weapon. After hitting it's target the air goes back to regular air so it's a clean way to get rid of enemies"
