Argentum said "Good, we can use all the help we can get lol I will try to set up a holy aura around our encampment. Won't stop anything really evil but should take care on the minor demons. That will give us time to strategize:

Damian saw it getting dark "I think we need to get some sleep...at least a few hours. My brother should arrive soon."

Argentum said "Yea rest sounds like a great idea. We have done all we can for now. Let's rest up and regain strength"

 

[Edge]

The group went to sleep. Hours passed by and everyone was exhausted. Not a sound at all. Finally Maximus yelled out "Hey did you hear that?"

Minst says "Sheesh seems we never get much of a break"

Argentum says " Evil rarely rests. Let's have a look. Grab Oxxen and we will see what making that noise. Great job Maximus. You are a awesome securiy system. "

Damian said "Maximus is like our watch dog."

Maximus said "Yea and you don't need to clean up after me either."

Hyacin said "Nice to know our sword is potty trained" lol.

Damian heard someone or something coming off in the woods "Shh listen to that!"

Argentum said "Never a dull moment around here, perhaps we should all investigate the noise."

Minst said "Not heard anything like that. Not any animal I know of"

Oxxen said "Ayye sounds like a beastie from down below."

Damian said "I wish Jake would get here."

Argentum said "He should be here soon."

Minst said "Should we go out and meet up with him and escort him back. Maybe he is facing some foes?"

The noise the group heard suddenly got louder.
Damian said "I'm not sure if we should see what this is about first. Could it even involve Jake?"

Argentum said " hmmm lets ask Verdis maybe she has a spell that will allow us to see what gping on out there. Might be a trap to get us to leave pur encampment"

Verdis said " I could cast a spell on an animal and see whats gping on through it's eyes. Won't hurt the animal at all."

Minst said "One of my wolves would be a good choice"

Argentum said "Great let's get it done. Lets be ready fpr anything. Not sure what that wolf will see. Ee need to be at the ready"

Damian watched and prepared as the spell was being cast on the wolf. He wasn't sure what would happen next but wanted to sound confident as the leader. "Let's do it now."

Verdis said "Don't worry the wolf won't feel a thong. The spell just hooks me into his eyes for a few hours. Minst can maybe get him to go where we want, he is the animal expert"

Minst said "I will try"

Minst kneels in front of the wolf and stares into his eyes as he gently pats his headi.

Minet said " I think he know where to go and what to look for so I will send him off"

Damian watched as the wolf took off immediately as if he knew exactly where he was going and what he was looking for.

Verdis sits down and meditates as she sees through the wolf's eyes.

Time passes as everyone waits around patiently.

Argentum says "Anything yet?"

Verdis says "I am getting something. Not liking what I am seeing. Something very evil. Very demonic. Not sure what it is, not my area of expertise..... hold my hand Argentum s9 I can share the vision with you."

Argentum says "umm ok"

Argentum sees the vision the Verdis is seeing...

Argentum says °Holy heck. That's a horde of Pit Demons and Pit Lords. Thats some nasty business. Not seen that mant before. Who the he'll are we healing with here...:
