The Continous Story Thread

Damian and Jake both joined Argentum to face the demon horde.
 
Argentum kneels on one knee and says a prayer and then plunges hi broafswprd into the ground. A bright blue flash of divine holy light explodes outward mowing down many of the demon horde and injuring Manu others.

Argentum says " That should give us much better odds I think. Let's slaughter some demons"
 
Jake takes the lead and takes out several of the demon horde himself. Damian looks at Argentum and both are amazed at how well skilled he is.
 
Mortis fires his new rapid fire soul cube cannon at the horde. The cubes based on Dark Soul cube they found works great. Demons hit by the cubes are methodically sucked into the cube and the cube then turns to ash.

Mortis says °Wow this cube cannon is working great. And it doesn't even leave a mess of dead demon stuff."
 
The Group seems to have fought off the attack for now but suddenly just as they start to congratulate each other there is an evil laugh heard in the sky.
 
A sultry feminine but very evil laugh comes from the sky above....

BWAHAHAHAHAHA Good job for now my pathetic children but this is only the beginning. Only the beginning...." :firedevil
 
Damian looked up "Who or what is that?"
Jake said "The evil I came here to warn you about brother."
Maximus said "oh this is getting good."
 
Argentum said " Evil is always shooting it's mouth off. Never ever being nice. Only way to shut it up is to kill it as dead as you can kill it. Then kill it again just to be sure."

Jake said "Well I like the sound of that."

Maximus said "You wouldn't try to shut me up would you?"

Argentum said "No you are not evil. A little annoying maybe but not evil. So we are good lol"
 
Damian said "Well we better get to some shelter, plan for this evil we are facing and catch up brother."
Jake said "Absolutely. Honestly these travels have been exhausting."
 
Damian looked in his suddenly mostly empty bag "Maximus did you take the rest of my trail mix?"
 
Maximus said "I wanted to try it. See how good it is but then I realized I don't have a mouth.....or teeth....or a tongue for that matter. So didn't eat any."
 
Damian groaned. "Looks like we need to make a stop first thing in the morning for supplies. For now let's rest and then Jake and I can catch up in the morning with everyone and we can format a strategy as to facing the evil that is seeming to be planning against us."
 
Argentum says " Sounds good to me. I could use some rest."

Maximus said " Can we get sword polish at the store too. I think we are running low."

Hyacin sighed " You sure like your sword polish"

Maximus said "I always like looking my best"
 
The Group went to rest and sleep and it was a quiet night (for once)...Jake was the first one up in the morning. Damian heard him and got up. The 2 brothers finally had a few moments to talk and catch up. Damian said "Jake. I got lost due to the evil witch who cast a spell on me. Do you remember her? And how long was it that we were separated? I lost my memory and everything from her."
 
Jake said "Was that witch called The Vile One. She was very nasty. Sorry you ran into her but glad you got rid of her. That was about 3 years ago. So we have been apart a long time sadly. I missed you. Glad we got back in touch and you are ok. Seem though that witch had lots more evil beings backing her up.we may be fighting them for a bit."
 
Damian stuttered "3 yea...yea...years?" "Wow it's like I was in a coma."
Maximus said "Don't worry now you're with the best group ever and your life is amazing and look at the leader you've become...you're 2nd in charge next to me."
 
Argentum said " 3 years is a long time but unusual for witch's curses. Luckily she is dead and won't be cursing anyone else."

Oxxen said " Not to interrupt this beautiful moment but I am hearing something rather.....let's say bizarre.... in the clearing over there"

Oxxen points to where he hears a bizarre growl.

Argentum says "That's not from this plane. That sounds like something from the Abyssal plane"

Maximus say "So I am guessing cute bunnies and sparkly unicorns are not found in the Abyssal plane"

Argentum says "lol no only big nasty demonic creatures "

Maximus says " I was afraid that was gonna be the case"
