Jake said "Who is Xenos?"
Damian said "The man who saved me and taught me everything I know."
Maximus said "I thought I was the one who taught you everything you know."

Argentum said "Damian is turning into a great lightning mage and he mighty handy with weapons. Hyacin should probably teach you some more stuff when we get back I got a strong feeling we are gonna need it.:

Jake nodded "We all will need to step up our game."

Argentum said " Yes certainly no arguments from me there lol. We are at the old church where Aleph is at. Maybe he can give us some ideas what we are dealing with. He is a very wise old man in addition to being a formidable priest."

"Let's talk to Aelph" said Damian.

Argentum said "Great let's go in. Hope Aleph is doing well been awhile since I seen him. I became a Paladin because of him. His words inspired me to do good and help others. He once told me 'Never be afraid to ask for help. We are always stronger together then we are apart.' Guess that's why I though we could use him now."

The Group walked towards the old church where Aleph was. As they got closer Maximus said "I think I see the church."

Hyacin said "Try to be nice in the church Maximus. We don't want to offend the priest Aleph"


Maximus said "I am always nice. Especially to any hot looking nuns that are in there"

Hyacin sighed "Maybe just be quiet"

Maximus said "Gotcha. I want say a word. Not a peep out of me. Won't say a thing. Nada. Zip....."

The group entered the church with Maximus still saying stuff about how he was not gonna say stuff...

Jake asked Damian "Is he always like this?"
Damian said "This is actually well-behaved for him."
The Group entered the church. It seemed empty. But suddenly they saw a figure.

A very very very old man comes walking using a beautiful carved gilded staff as a cane. He has a long white beard and silver white hair. A haggered face as someone who has seen a lot of stuff happen would.

"Hi my name is Aleph. Keeper of the Church of Divine Light......wait is that you Argentum...what brings you to me after all these years my child." said Aleph

Argentum says "Yrs it is me Argentum my old friend. I have come with my friends here seeking your knowledge, advice and help. My friends and I sure could use it."

Aleph says "i think i know why you are here. I have been sensing a evil prescence but why don't you and friends tell me what's going on"

Damian and Jake stepped up and told Aleph the whole story. Damian explained the "witch" who started his journey. How he met his brother Damian. All the signs of evil they've felt coming and even the giant worm they recently faced.

Aleph said "I am glad you lifted your curse and found help from a great group of friends. The witch though was part of a bigger problem. She was doing the bidding of of a much larger evil being. That is what you are facing now. Evil begets evil. It must be fought constantly.'"

Argentum said "So do you have any idea as to who or what we are facing?"

Aleph said 'I do. What many don't understand is demons don't always work together. They fight amongst each other trying to gain power. He'll is in constant turmoil. That's most often good better they fight each other but.... sometimes Demons form alliances to gain power and try to overtake Satan himself. That's means trouble for us mortals. Your witch was a servant of this larger evil. Since she was a Dark Shadow covenant witch. The demon would likely be Pyrael Lord of Shadows. A power hungry very evil demon. Pyrael is likely recruited another demon to help him. I don't know who that is....yet anyway."

Damian said "How do we find out?"

Aleph said "We find out by being smart. Demons are not as smart as they think. They leave clues because they get careless and because the feel they are invincible. We just need to examine what's going on and then we can figure out from there."

Argentum said "Can you help us with thst?"

Aleph said "Was hoping you would ask lol. I am just an old priest sitting doing nothing most of the time. Would be great to actually be able to help and eliminate some evil beings. I am in"

Jake shook Aleph's hands "Thank you."
Maximus said "Hey I'm the best detective in this group so I can be Aleph's assistant."

Aleph said " You have a talking sword. Interesting. Not seen one of those in a very long time."

Hyacin said "How many have you seen?"

Aleph said "Four or five. They tend to be rather outspoken. Not as well behaved as yours"

Maximus said "Everyone loves me. Especially the ladies."

Hyacin rolls her eyes

Damian said "Well-behaved?" almost choking.
Jake patted his brother on the back.

Argentum laughed " He has been better behaved lately. After talking to him......a lot"

Maximus said " They are just joking with you. I am adorable and cuddly too."

Hyacin laughed "yea right..."

Aleph said "You are lucky most talking swords don't listen at all. The last one I knew kept making crude comments to all the women. Very unsettling."

Maximus said "Oh my how uncouth. I on the other hand am a perfect gentelman"

Hyacin laughed rather loudly then became quiet.
