Argentum said " Do you know what it said? Or have an idea?" I am getting the feeling we are being tested. Like this is game. Not a game I want to play. Wish we could attack the source somehow. Let's bring what's left of the frog to Aleph. Maybe he can piece together what's gping on."

Damian looked concerned and said "It wasn't really what it said but how it said it. It sounded evil. Almost a hysterical laugh"
"Let's bring this to Aleph."

Argentum says " Well let's see what Aleph thinks about all this:

Argentum and Damian bring the dead undead froggy to aleph and tell hom what happened.

Aleph says "Hmmm this frog is from a special place in the undead plane ...not available to all evil beings. So I had inking of who it was...when Damian said he heard an evil laugh that really clinched it. It's a female evil being. Part of the demon world and part of the undead world. She is called The Banshee Queen by some but is commonly known as Lilist. She is quite quite nasty and evil. I think perhaps I should consult with Mortis .... she does not have a lot of weaknesses but she does have a few. Job well done guys ... we know a lot more."

Jake said "Banshee Queen doesn't sound friendly one bit."
Maximus said "Maybe I can be her distraction like I am with all ladies."
Damian said "I think you better not joke with the Banshee Queen. She doesn't seem to have a sense of humor."

Aleph said "She is pure evil. She can switch forms and go from corpeal to non corpeal. The latter is a ghost like form where matter like bullets arrows and swords pass right through her. Makes her very difficult to hurt. She is susceptible to lightning though. So Damian learn all the lightning magic you can. We are gonna need it. She is also susceptible to soul spells. So I want to talk to Mortis about making a badder wss soul sucking cube. That should do some damage to her."

Maximus said "I will charm her while you guys attack her"

Argentum said "She looks like a corpse that's been in the ground for a few decades and she smells like rotting sewage"

Hyacin said "Perfect. Just your type 😛"

Damian and Jake talked about the Banshee Queen for a few minutes. They both agreed this was a battle unlike any other the brothers had faced in their entire lives.

Aleph said to the brothers "Don't worry about it too much. She is a formidable opponent but she is defeatable. We just need to be ready and prepared for her."

Damian said "We will defeat her. This group is the ultimate bunch of warriors."
Maximus said "Yes we are."

Argentum said "Well we better start getting prepared. I will see how some these weapons are coming along. Damian start learning those lightning spells. We are gonna need something much more powerful then the froggy blasting one lol."

Oxxen said "Me and me buddies can make ya some new and nastier weapons."

Argentum said "That would be great"

Damian said "I'll start learning lightning spells right now. Show me one."
Jake said "Hey I want a new and nastier weapon to use too."

Hyacin said "Follow me I will teach you one of Xenos's most powerful spells. Should come in handy for you"

Oxxen said "Follow me Jake. Let's see what I can make ya. Got some ideas for some really brutal weapons"

Jake followed Hyacin. Damian had told him all about Xenos and how he respected Xenos as much as anyone he ever met.

Hyacin says "Xenos was the best mage I ever knew. It was a honor to have known him. He believed in you Damian as do I. So we need to get you up to his level fast."

Damian said "Show me what you got."

Hyacin said " Let's start with small ball lightning spells. As you get better you will be able to make bigger balls of ball lightning. The trick is to make one big enough to lots of damage but not so big you can't control it. Try a baseball size one and see if you can manipulate it. Move it around....see if you can swing it around and take out those dead trees over there."

Damian did what Hyacin instructed and swung it taking out 3 trees in one shot.
Jake said "Wow my bro got skills."

Hyacin said "Awesome job. Try again. Thins time make a bigger ball lightning sphere. About the size of melon. See if you can break up those rockx over atop the ridge. Xenos use to be able to make lightning spheres the size of large boulders but don't worry you will get there just need to practice."

Damian did as Hyacin asked and made a bigger ball of lightning sphere. He broke up most of the rocks atop the ridge but missed a few.
Maximus said "Practice makes perfect."

Hyacin said " You are doing great. Hate to admit but the sword is right. Practice does make perfect. Keep the balls of lightning at tgis side and smash up the rocks until you can get a bunch of them in one spell. Then try to make a bigger ball of lightning. Let's see if we can get you up to where Xenos was at. We could sure use the fire power."
