Oh, and the visual novel project is in its infancy, but growing quickly as we have some folks with passion giving me feedback daily on it.

I've started development on The Cyriaan Chronicles second and final expansion. This one will be larger in scope than "Mothers & Daughters" which you can find on Steam or the TickleTown website https://agency-publishing.com/

Noob question here: Since I have the original game as a download and the the expansion is on Steam, will they work together? Do I need to move game files around? Or does the Steam expansion include the entire base game so it can be played in full on that platform? Thanks in advance for any information you can give!

The new version on Steam is the complete game, including the original base game and the new expansion content.

I finally got around to trying the new version. You mentioned a new area to explore. I did blitz through the main story and ignored side quests, There were two new scenes with Gwen and Lucia. is that the extent of the new scenes or did I possibly miss something?

The new zone in Vodeford and the new plotline with Gwen and Lucia vs Penny and the Orcs is new - so yes, two new big scenes with pinups.

Another expansion is in the works, though, which Oblesklk says will add another new zone and a number of new side-quests/features in existing zones.

We will be releasing the second and final expansion for our tickling video game The Cyriaan Chronicles early 2026. As part of the expansion, we have revisited the artwork of the characters and in many cases, revamped them to showcase the artist's improved talents over the years.

The line art is quite similar, but the changes are mostly in the color palettes. These colors also reflect the color palettes in the Cyriaan Chronicles comic book series, which has the same artist!

I think most tickle games are in the 40k word count range, just in peeking around at what other folks are working on.

Cyriaan Chronicles at first release was 70k words, so already a pretty big game.

I just ran a word count script and now it's up to 142k words after both expansions. After this expansion releases early next year, I think I can finally put this game to rest, it really lived up to the vision of what I had for it when I started dabbling in game dev 3 years ago.

Since I'm terrible at marketing, I wanted to share a post on our Discord server from a fan who has been watching development on the second and final expansion for the game.

Case in point, the expansion will be called "The Laughing Sands" and will represent the last major update/release for the game. It will enter alpha testing in the next month, beta testing hopefully in January 2026 and I'm aiming for a Q1 2026 release window.
