The Enigma Thread

It is an enigma to me why some people post here a lot, sometimes for years, and then suddenly vanish. 😱

Yea it's odd. Sometimes something happens like for me I got sick and wss gone for 2 years. Others get married and maybe move on. You always hope people dont stop cause of something bad that happened.
 
That's right. And sometimes we never know what happened because nobody has their email or telephone number. Some people here want their privacy and never give those out.

Yea its the double edge sword of the internet. Privacy vs Socializing.
 
If you are very, very private, and if you fall in your home with no electronic help device at hand , then your privacy may be fatal. 😱
 
An enigma to me is how some people have conspiracy theories on 9-11...I'll never forget I was at community college that morning. I was listening to my transistor pocket sized radio (that's how long ago it was that some people actually still used those lol).
 
I was teaching a class on September 11, 2001, from 8:30am to 10am, so I was totally unaware of what had happened until my class was over.

Yea i have heard all sorts of weird things. Like it was all computer generated. Bssically CGI. People get weird with conspuracies ...very weird.

When my class ended and I got the news, I went up to the top floor of the university building where I worked. The whole top (12th) floor is a room used for receptions and events, with floor-to-ceiling windows in all four directions. Looking south, I could see the huge plume of smoke rising from where the World Trade Center towers had been.

And ones where it was our own government that flew the planes into the buildings...people are just so ridiculous sometimes. That's why I stopped reading peoples comments on things online. I rather not waste my time.

Crazy people just make you crazy. Especially if ypy try to think about what they are saying. Lol.

Ignoring them is the best thing to do.
