I'm off work Saturday through Tuesday. We were going to go upstate for a Halloween event Sunday but we're trying to reschedule for the following Sunday and do a local event due to the uncertainty with the storm.

It was rainy here yesterday. Fortunately it didn't last long and we had sun by late afternoon.

It's beautiful here the last couple days but cooler. We are not even making it to 60 degrees. But I think I'm getting used to it already.

Here is another enigma: Why do I care so much about baseball? Why am so emotionally involved in whether the Dodgers win or lose?
I have never been able to answer that question.

Sports are weird. People get so attached to their teams. I remember when I was a chat room mod. Sports would cause so many arguments. I kind of get the same way I pick a team I like and root for them. If they lose I feel bad but if they win I get super happy. I think we just like having those high moments so much it gets addictive.

I think it also is easier to get attached to a baseball team because 162 games is a ton...the season is so long from spring training in February to the world series around Halloween. You get attached and then the off season talk adds to it. You start feeling like you are part of the team almost when you follow them day to day.

Thanks for both of your analyses. I definitely feel happy and calm when days like yesterday happen (when the Dodgers won the NL Pennant for 2025).

Go Dodger Blue. Was awesome here last night everyone was going nuts. Shooting off fireworks. That too adds to fervor people have for a team when everyone come together, it's a beautiful thing.
