A ton of books literally. LolSorry, I don't recognize that plot. Probably I didn't read that one--he's written a lot of books.

Is that the Stephen King book?"Fairy Tale'
Yes. It was one of my favorites I think because you don't hear much about it and it surprised me how into the story I got. A little kid befriends his elderly neighbor/dog and finds a secret passage in his shed in his backyard that leads to another world (which the old man knew about and tried to keep a secret). Is that the Stephen King book?
I never read that one either."Fairy Tale'
Yea I never heard about it. Sounds really cool though.Yes. It was one of my favorites I think because you don't hear much about it and it surprised me how into the story I got. A little kid befriends his elderly neighbor/dog and finds a secret passage in his shed in his backyard that leads to another world (which the old man knew about and tried to keep a secret).
Wow not heard of that one either.Stephen King did write one BDSM novel, "Gerald's Game," published in 1992.
It wasn't made into a film until 2017.
Yea people are very judgemental about BDSM.... why no one in my family knows anything about what I like. LolWhen I checked "Gerald's Game" out of the library, the librarian (a not very attractive woman of about 45) gave me a very sharp look of disapproval. Perhaps the handcuffs on the cover convinced her that I must be a pervert.
Yes!People judge everything. Especially the last decade with social media...it was created so everyone could judge and comment on everything everyone else is doing which is why I say the biggest problem with the world these days is that people should worry about themselves more. If everyone did that and tried to better themselves the world would be a better place.
Very true. An excellent point.People judge everything. Especially the last decade with social media...it was created so everyone could judge and comment on everything everyone else is doing which is why I say the biggest problem with the world these days is that people should worry about themselves more. If everyone did that and tried to better themselves the world would be a better place.
Yea the weather here is nasty too. Seems sometimes there are evil forces at work. It's just changes in the key stream that cause the weather patterns though. They are noy totally random as they so follow complicated cycles of the Earth. What is the cosmic purpose of the wretched rain that we've got now? 🌧️
Yea exactly. So many different influences that things appear random but in a way they are not. They are just real comolicated. Those cycles are very complicated indeed. Like a Fourier series, the different cycles must be added up.
I suspect that many things that appear random are actually just more complicated than we now understand.Yea exactly. So many different influences that things appear random but in a way they are not. They are just real comolicated.
Yea exactly. I dont think we undestand the systems well enough to predict things accurately. The weather patterns can often be very feast or famine...hardly any rain for months or months worth of rain in a week.
Very true. Weather is certainly one of those things.I suspect that many things that appear random are actually just more complicated than we now understand.
There is a lot to be fascinated about. Still a lot we don't understand.Funny when I was a kid I wanted to be a weather person...not sure why I was fascinated with it at a young age. I still am today...maybe not on the same level though.
Most just read the weather. There were only a few real meteorologists that did it.I have lots of respect for meteorologists who predict the weather, but not much for the people who read the forecasts on TV.
