The Enigma Thread

My enigma is there a better weekend than the 4th of July?
 
It was great. I feel like 4th of July should get a little more hype/build up.

As a general rule, if you've lived your whole life in one place, then the tendency is to compare that place with some ideal perfect society that never existed. If you have lived in various places, then you evaluate the good and bad aspects of each. The people I know who love America the most are a married couple who grew up separately in the USSR and met here in NYC.

This is very true. I knew a German Enginner who grew up in communist East Germany who would tell people off on the bus that bad mouthed the US.
 
A lot of people at work were saying how the 4th is underrated as a holiday....they're right.
 
The humidity sometimes is crazy in July...I love summer (don't mind hot weather).
 
Lucky you...I'd rather have the heat than the humidity. I run 3 miles at 5:45AM before work and I'm soaked in sweat already lol.

Yea exercising in humidity is awful. I had to do it a few times. You feel like you are going to melt. Lol.
