Yes, a baseball cap (Brooklyn Cyclones for disguise, not Dodgers), sunglasses, a t-shirt, short pants, and sneakers. That is my usual outfit for Coney ISLAND. 😀Glad you had a good time my friend. I hope you were wearing SUNGLASSES. 😀

Yes, I regard the outer boroughs as dangerous TERRITORY. 😀That is very wise, my FRIEND. 😀

Just kidding. Like any city, some neighborhoods are dangerous and some quite safe, and this is true in all five boroughs. I was just pretending to be a typical resident of Manhattan, as we are famous for disparaging the other four BOROUGHS. 😀Why SO? 😀

It is about 75 minutes by subway from where I live, including an average of five minutes to wait for the TRAIN.Ah, I see. How far are you from Coney ISLAND? 😀

I see. That is quite a long drive, generally not worth making a round trip in one DAY. 😱Ah, not too bad. It is about a 3-4 drive (depending on traffic) for me to get to a decent BEACH. 😀

It would likely take longer in a car and, worse, it would cost you $20 to park in a parking lot once you arrived THERE. 😀I wonder if it would take longer in a CAR. 😀

Yes, that makes sense. Do you stay in a hotel or with FRIENDS? 😀No, that is why I usually go for 2-3 days when I go to the BEACH. 😀

I don't blame you for avoiding the traffic here. One of my worst experiences in traffic was spending three hours bumper-to-bumper to go about 10 miles on the Long Island Expressway. 😱I do not miss NYC and LI TRAFFIC. 😀
