Before you get too excited, most teams are only 27 or 28 games into a season that lasts 162 GAMES. 😀

Yes, but the Phillies were predicted to be one of the worst teams in baseball and right now they would be the second wildcard team and in the PLAYOFFS. :bouncybou

I fully understand that. Look at it this way: The first 40 games of the baseball season is about the first quarter. Contain your enthusiasm until the end of the first QUARTER. 😀

Yes, I am not enthusiastic about that team...unless they would be playing one of the teams in the Phillies division...then I would root for that TEAM. 😀

Yes, unless those teams are playing each other. :pukefight: In that case, I would probably root for the team that is lowest in the STANDINGS. 😀

So it seems would even root for the Mets against the Nationals in case they are 40-30 while the Nats are 42-28. 😀
