In his case, ER=9 and IP=1 1/3 = 4/3, and 81/(4/3) = 243/4 = 60.75

Yes, I know how to calculate ERA, but I did not care that much about his ERA to do SO. 😀

But if he had been removed right after giving up the grand slam, then his earned run average would have been INFINITY!
