And I had better be careful. My father was a Yankee fan, from his childhood in their old glory days (1920's and 1930's). At one point, when they were doing quite badly, he said that he just wanted to live to see them win one more World Series. They did so in 1996. He died in May 1997 (aged 79).

So I do NOT state that I just want to live to see the Dodgers win one more World Series. Nope. I want to see them win TEN MORE. 😀

Last year, I had reserved a room at the motel near Dodger Stadium and determined from Stubhub that it would cost about $1,500 per game to see games 3, 4. and 5 in Dodger Stadium. Sadly, they were not played there due to the St. Louis CARDINALS. 🙁

Nevertheless, StubHub is a wonderful website. You don't have to know a season ticket holder or a team employee to get a World Series ticket. All you have to do is pay a large amount of MONEY. 😀
