Indeed not. One of my colleagues in the Psychology Department was giving out a one-question survey to volunteers and it asked:
"If you die within the next 30 days, what is most likely going to be the cause?"
I answered:
"Being run down by a tired taxi driver rushing down Columbus Avenue at 40mph at the end of his shift without paying attention to a red LIGHT."

For a very good reason. From 3pm to 5pm there was a TMF munch organized and hosted by KittenToes and Libertine. It was held at the Skylight Diner at 34th Street and 9th Avenue. Seven people were there. Afterward, just the three of us walked down the Highline to 14th Street to Greenwich Village and continued TALKING. 😀

I don't see why. I ate a big meal early (finishing a BIG dessert at 5pm) so I don't need to eat again. It's about 8:15 and the Dodger game doesn't start for about 90 MINUTES. 😀

The actual munch was limited by the Diner to two hours and we left at 5pm so that they could have the table for their dinner crowd. Libertine and KittenToes wanted to go home from our walk around 6:30pm and I went home as WELL.

Which is why I must congratulation Lee Allure who runs NEST. She has managed to keep attendance there about 60% male, 40% female, much better than the usual crowd of PERVERTS[sup]*[/sup]. 😀

Yes, indeed it is, my friend. I once asked Lee how she does it, and she said she cuts off the applications to attend by single men at a certain point before the event. Knowing that, I always send in my application early, shortly after registration OPENS. 😀
