What is your favorite condiment to put on burgers, hotdogs, salads, whatever?

Is it Ketchup?

Mustard---but is it regular, brown, honey or dijon?

Or are you a fan of Mayo?

Maybe the kick of salsa?

The bite of Hot sauce?

Perhaps even the taste of pickled relish?

So many choices, how say youse?

Personally, I've become a Dijon mustard fan. So much that I must put it on my every sandwhich (including tuna salad... interesting taste, don't recommend it)

And I don't eat Mayo. Look at the 'health facts' and you'll see why.

Ketchup only I even use it on steak
Mustard makes my stomach queasy

I won't say what mayo looks like

Salsa,hot sauce,and relish :xlime:

I despise mayo, and only eat ketchup on fries. For hot dogs, I stick with mustard. Burgers I usually like either plain, or with ranch. Actually, for pretty much anything else, I stick with ranch.

burgers (beef or turkey): ketchup

dogs (hot dogs, of course): mustard, usually psicy brown or dijon and relish (relish only sometimes)
i'm a big fan of dijon as well. having some real dijon at a ltitle place in paris while i was stationed in europe was quite the experience. burned the fucking hair right outta my nose but still my friend and i kept eating it on bread. before we knew it, the bread was gone and we were asking for more! lol

i only use salsa with chips

mayo i use with tuna sandwiches and i'm very cautious regarding the amounts that i use with mayo. and i don't eat tuna very often but when i do, it gets a small dab of mayo.

that's just me though.

Ketchup and mustard on burgers and dogs.

Mayo is bangin' on a turkey sandwich. Health facts can kiss my ass.

Salsa sucks since I hate peppers and onions and such.

Relish and lots of mayo mixed with tuna = WIN!

And I do love A-1 steak sauce and worchestershire sauce and am always looking for something new to eat them with.

Also, Heinz 57 sauce is most excellent.

I'll use any condiment except mayonnaise. I have actually seen people dip their french fries into that shit. Usually when I see it, i wait until they are not looking and throw up right in the mayo.

They never even know the difference

I do a combo of ranch dressing and katsup on burgers.

On hotdogs, I generally pass on anything other than chili & cheese...or kraut on occassion.

For most sndwiches/wraps, I'll do either ranch dressing or nance's sharp & creamy mustard. (with horseradish added if it happens to be roast beef). If I'm in the mood for something sweet, I might do my maple bbq sauce.

Salads vary. I'm all over the board on that, depending on my mood...ranch, italian, honey mustard, french, vinagrette.

OK, now I'm getting hungry! :rotate:

I like all of those actually. Not all on one thing, but each has it's place on different food items.

Is it Ketchup?:

Love it! I put it on burgers, chicken, steak and such.

Mustard---but is it regular, brown, honey or dijon?

Mustard, the spicy kind only for turkey, and lunchmeat sandwiches.

Or are you a fan of Mayo?:

Eww....no.

Maybe the kick of salsa?:

When it goes with the food.

The bite of Hot sauce?:

No.

Perhaps even the taste of pickled relish?:

Even grosser then mayo.

I forgot about ranch!

Good call.

Alright, Dijon Mustard 1a & Ranch 1b for me.

I'm a fan of the good old American classic, ketchup and yellow mustard. I will occasionally go with dijon mustard, though. I can really only stand mayo in moderation, and it has to be the low fat variety. If it's regular mayo, it tastes nasty to me. Salsa? Only with chips. Hot sauce, not at all. Never been the biggest fan of the hots. As for relish, I prefer the sweet variety over pickled. Goes good with turkey franks, which I prefer over beef.

Ketchup on basically everything.

Ranch for Salads and Red Grapes.

I use Dijon Mustard for Cornbeef and Cabbage.

Ketchup and mayo on burgers, ketchup and honey (yes, honey) on my fries, occasionally a bit of bleu cheese dressing on steak fries, and honey mustard on poultry (chicken sandwich, turkey burger, etc). I'm a sweet relish fiend, love it mixed into tuna or on burgers 🙂

I like creating my own rubs and BBQ sauces, so that varies :cat:

Ketchup n mustard with beef

Mayo with chicken

BBQ with ribs

Ranch on a Subway

Ceasar on Salad

A saucy thread indeed.

It's starting to read like Moses and the Ten Condiments here.

Dear oh dear. Who let you in?!

I prefer English mustard. No fannying about with the poncy french version. I want to blow my bloody 'ead orf. Mind you, I also like a good dollop of Heinz tomato ketchup. One thing you won't have heard of is a little known condiment here in Sheffield called Henderson's Relish. It's only sold in Sheffield, and it's a bit like Worcester Sauce; only much, much better. It's really nice on fish 'n' chips. Laaverrly.

Good choices so far; but man, I forgot some good ones, like:

Tartar sauce, BBQ sauce and ranch dressing.

I should create a poll... if only I knew how...

A1 on any beef product.

Regular mustard for kielbasa. And cabbage.

Ketchup for mashed potatoes and other potato products.

Whipped dressing for sandwiches.

Anything vinegary for salads (or in a cucumber mix to make mizeria).

Homemade salsa for blue corn tortilla chips.

Sun dried tomato marinade for chicken.

Plum sauce for my eggrolls.
