A haiku is a Japanese poetry style. It has three lines consisting of 5 syllables, then 7, then 5. Most haikus deal with nature or elemental themes.

I feel like inventing a literary genre tonight. It shall be called: twisted haiku. It's just like regular haiku, except inflected by a grotesque, misanthropic sensibility that borders on the insane. If there were a loving and beneficent god, it wouldn't exist. Sound like fun?
