Traveling to some more remote parts of the world, one tends to run into crowds of youngsters who've been practicing their charms on hundreds of tourists before and have honed a routine so obvious and plastic that it grated terribly. I never thought I could be annoyed with cute kids, but I learned I was wrong more than once.
The world is a large place and quite varied, but each place one visits there are similarities: a smile is a smile no matter where one travels--except maybe New York City. 😉
