WOOT! Low Roads is back with a passion! This one was AWESOME! Stocks, public humiliation, and absolutely merciless tickling for Mercy. (Oh, how ironic and clever. 😉) Did you change your colouring method with this one? It seemed a bit more vivid, but that just might be me. It's awesome having you back in the drawing habit after Spectacles of Doom, too. n_n Keep up the great work, dude.

ALLRIGHT!! :super_hap I was SO looking forward to this new installment. And I was absolutely worth the wait!
The Kitzalia cameo is simply awesome! You even included all of her henchmen! marvelous! :super_hap
All cameos were nicely implemented too; like the suble cameo with the two wide-eyed gentlemen reading "tales from tyclonia", not to mention the "Slick the Cat" one, where Slick completely has that Robert Crumb feel. As always I have marveled over your unique drawing style. I'ts almost underground (style-wise), but with a setting and characters that has the fantasy of a Marten Toonder comic. A most original combination.

And the story is developing into something very intrigueing. What is the hidden agenda of Persephone and the shadowy figure with his cape? And what will become of the science-geek kid, who's wicked technology is most probably going to fall in the hands of the bogeys. What terrible acts of tickling they might do with it!
I can hardly wait to find out! 🙂

Much thanks, Sammi! I'll do my best, and certainly intend to keep these chapters coming more regularly from now on. I did, in fact, sweeten the colors a bit for this chapter, as it's outdoorsy and summerish (pumped up the contrast while scanning. There's also a bit more colored pencil work here than previously).

I promise that each of these characters will have an important part to play! A great thrill, too, to be able to draw all your wonderful Kitzlia personalities (Pastor Krank was particularly fun!) As always, your enthusiasm and kind appreciation have warmed me clear through and made this latest chapter more than worth the effort!

Right, subtitles! I read a lot of those myself. As you say, very good practice! Being mono-lingual (me, of course, not you) can have some benefits, slight as they are.

Thank you, Rajee! Me too, of course! And I was eager to try a group-tickling scenario, one where different people floated in and out of the torment! I thought it might add a giddy element of confusion!

 

[His Divine Shadow]

A little Scruff McGruff in Growler, aye (Or at least I see it. But then I see lots of things. 😛). The elderly villager on page four looks a few steps removed from mummified methinks. I'm lovin' the cameos there, that I am! Poor Jipsy (I'll just have to enjoy her torment enough to make up the balance. 😛) and poor Yuri, in a sense, since she again manages to escape torment. I think I need to re-read earlier chapters, however. Some characters I recognize but not the backstory, like the shadowy figure on page 15 (Although he may be new and I just don't know). The LBH (Comic-wise) is looking positively full of nefarious glee on his roof-top perch, aye aye. Smashing (I need new adjectives ... to the Thesaurus!) and laudable, LBH! :happy:

My grateful thanks, HDS! Growler does resemble Scruff a bit, doesn't he! (the tired, cynical old dog that young pup will probably grow into once he's spent a few years on the beat!) Thanks, Abadon! Oh, I think it's safe to say the Persephone is bound (term used advisedly!) for another session at the end of a feather! Though it may come from a surprising source... I won't spill any more beans now. Must maintain some suspense!

I'm pleased you're enjoying it, Cosquillero! Thank you! Yes, I do keep the proceedings rather dark, filled with monsters and ugly human intentions. Hopefully lighter elements (humor, friendship, familial love) will emerge to leaven that. Hasn't been much of it so far, though.

Thank you, Journia! I've wanted to do cameo tributes for a long time now. Scav's "Worlds Collide" series finally inspired me to stop thinking about it and do it. Finding places to drop them in where they don't interrupt the action is tricky, though.

That's a heavy-duty compliment, A1! Thanks so much! Though fetish content is the primary excuse for this comic, I try not to let it be the whole show. If that broadens its appeal, I'm very, very pleased indeed!
