Are there plans for a cool male hero or are you only going to use her 'big sister' as the saviour when a deux ex machina is needed?

Up til now, I hadn't given the matter much consideration (while I do have the general plot for this story worked out, specific chapter details tend to develop more gradually). But the idea is a tempting one... a cadre of such dream-warriors, charging to confront various (literal) nightmares, policing the slumber landscape for the safety of sleepers! I can see a number of cameo possibilites here, as well. You and Kal would be good candidates... an opportunity for appropriate, specific tributes finally!

Hey i've just read all the low roads chapters and have had a weird thought... What if Persephone is secretly a bogey? I mean she was severly tickled in the last chapter, and in this chapter she using public tickling as a punishment when it hasn't been used in years! Then later it turns into the normal punishment!

Doesn't it seem strange that after Persephone gets badly tickled by a bogey, she uses the same methods that the bogeys use for punishment as well as pleasure?

Sounds like the makings of a bogey-to-be, i believe...

Hi Fmilling! Please forgive the late reply; I've been a little ill today and only just noticed the fresh post! Thank you so much for your thoughtful consideration as well as the bump! I won't be too specific about the paths that each of the Low Roads characters will choose (the story still has a very long way to go, and I want to be able to maintain suspense), but I will say that yours is some of the most creative speculation I've yet read! It would be an ironic twist indeed if Sephie, the arch bogey-hater, should become one herself... and your careful reading of the evidence certainly leaves the possibility wide open! It's gratifying indeed to have someone expend this sort of intense attention to one's work, doubly so when the logic is so well presented and scrupulously researched! I do hope that Sephie's future will live up to your expectations... thanks once again for taking the time to write! And I'm still very much looking forward to Teeva's foray into comic-dom (any new Teeva appearance, actually!)

Thank you, Relent! Hey, what an impressive, colorful new signature you've got! Funny, too! I'm not really surprised that Low Roads chapters evade notice from time to time, scattered as they are throughout the art secton. If I'd had any sense, I'd have grouped everything together in one thread (as I've done with some of my other submissions). Of course, then I run the risk of having everything overlooked! :laughing:

As for lumping the submissions together, you could always just have them individually posted and all the threads of the individually posted chapters lumped together into a single thread. Just a suggestion.

Not a bad thought. It's something I would indeed try if there weren't so much material to re-submit (155 pages at last count)... an arduous task for me and precious Forum space eaten away by duplication. My alternate solution is to provide links at the beginning of each chapter thread: one for Chapter 1 (so that interested readers can start at the beginning) and another for the following chapter. Rough continuity can be maintained that way. Ultimately, I'd like to create a master list, so that every one of the links can be found in one tidy place... it's a project I'll get to one of these days, probably best addressed once the story has been completed.

On reflection, that most likely would be the best way to proceed. The length of this series dictates early action, both because of the multitude of chapters to arrange and the very late start date if I wait. Yeah, it's definitely something I should think about for this year... all I need is some sort of special art submission to justify the list.
