Hey Mimi! I just wanted to tell you that I wish you the best of luck with the surgery. I've been through the evaluation myself and ultimately I decided it wasn't the right time for me. If I ever do go through with it, it will be the laproscopic version to minimize the surgical rish, but that's the least of my worries.
I also had the good luck at NEST this year to talk to a wonderful lady who has lost over 200 pounds after her gastric bypass 4 years ago. She is dealing with other problems now as a result of it, but she is getting by. I'm sure you've done the research and if you're ready to commit then I support you 110%. The ultimate goal is most important: to be around for lots more tickles! 😀
