My goodness, I hope we don't lose anyone else in the business before the official start of the season. It's sad to lose folks you see every weekend on tv. They become like family...especially in Nascar racing where everyone really is like family. My heart goes out to their loved ones. They will be missed.

But bring on Daytona!

Did ya see the rule changes? Now there will be 12 drivers in the Chase instead of 10, and Nascar will be awarding more points for winning a race. For complete details check out nascar.com. 🙂

Both Ward and Jeff are good folks. I never have any problem with either of them winning. I am glad Ward is back he is a fun interview when they talk to him. Course The Bud race is Feb 10, pretty close. Really looking forward to the start. Don't know if I agree with adding 2 more entries in the chase but I really like the more points for winning a race. Just a couple of cents from ole Pokey!!

his accent is because according to jeff. when they were growing up wards bedroom was in the most southern part of the house. hehe!!!

And as far as Toyota entering the Nascar picture, I'm not sure how I feel about that yet. Ask me that question again at the end of the season.

Oh, BTW, did anyone catch any of the Rolex 24 hrs at Daytona? Gordon's team finished 3rd (his first time in this race, by the way 😉 )...umm Jimmie Johnson's team was 36th and Tony Stewart's team came in 48th. Just thought I'd throw that little tidbit of info out there. 😛

HEY! Im a Team Hendricks (aka Hendricks Motorsports) Fan! I resent that Pic of Smoke! JJ would have won in 04 too if this new point system was in place. alas it just starts this year..another year for Team Hendricks and most likely a Championship season again for Jimmy. I even see Jeff being in the top 5. Smoke, may beat him but its all cool..as long as team monte carlo wins i am happy...since i am a member of team monte carlo myself! haha


BTW...if you ever make it to Concord, NC..check out Hendricks Motorsports shop. Really awesome! I have some great pix from there!
