yay the redskins have once again defeated the cowboys yay this thread is just to remind all the cowboys fans we are still better than you

There is always a bigger fish to swallow the big fish...what i'm saying is my beloved New York Giants are in 1st place where they belong! That's the good news, the bad news is next week Big Blue faces an angry Chicago Bear team. :ermm:

Boo Dallas, Hooray Beer!

Yes, that was one of the most enjoyable games of the season. Blocked field goals, T.O. dropping pass after pass, and the Cowboys getting penalized for almost 150 yards total. I must say that I have a personal vendetta against the team from the lonestar state, and seeing them beat like that is one of the best things a Cowboy hater could ever ask for. I am rooting for the Redskins for the rest of the season, as it would be great to see a "down in the dumps" team come back and take a seat in the playoffs. Go Skins!

The Redskins barely won, and while it is nice to beat the Cowboys, most likely this win takes Dallas out of the playoffs and Washington out of picking in the top 5 of the draft.

Enough of the endless spin from the Media's sycophantic Dallas Amen Corner. Enough of the endless verbal diarrhea from their fans. The only Bowl this team is headed to is the Toilet one. As Mr. Johnson had the velcro with his nickname torn off his jersey last week up in Cincinnati, let one be sewn on that of Drew Bledsoe that reads "American Standard". Would be fitting.

It took my own beloved, misguided, miscoached bunch of confused fatheads to beat them, too. No- humiliate them. Now, that's the link, folks- Joe Gibbs providing the physical link between this afternoon and the conference championship games of the early 80s, when we exposed that house of cards for what it was.

I'd say this was a very fine day.

1-1 on the season, 15 of the last 19. The Redskins are where they will finish, in last.

It's halfway through the season and the 'Boys are still in it. If you look at the records of all the teams in the NFC then you'll see they're right there in it.

A FG with no time left on the clock does not register as a whoopin.

Now what Miami did to Chicago and what Detroit did to Atlanta....that was a whoopin.

But congrats to the Redskins......your owner paid for all that talent to beat Dallas. Too bad it wont mean a lick in the playoffs, most of the Redskins will be playing golf.
And Dallas....well they probally will be fishing somewhere.

Fiend you have said that the Jets are garbage to which I agree with you. But if the Jets who are 4-4 are garbage then what does that make the Cowbells who are also 4-4. Are they garbage too??? And how about B.O. taking one for the team ( you know that senseless 15 yard penalty ). Or how about those 3 dropped passes including the pass that Romo dropped nicely into his arms for him to drop which would have been a TD catch for 72 yards. There would have been no need for the field goal attempt had he not made the mistakes he made. Now explain to the fans why you got him again and does the Eagles franchise especially after yesterday's game look like geniuses or what??? :wowzer:

Seems to me Redskin fans have no conception to what an ass whoopin is. Barely making a field goal to win is not an asswhoopin. Besides, the Redskins needed this win just to keep their season alive

try to understand the difference

I happen to agree with you that it was not an ass whoopin but it was probably the worst way you could possible lose. You were probably better off losing that game 28-7 then at least you can go on and say we got beat. Yesterday's loss is like having someone stick needles in your entire body without them stopping. You start to feel like a kick in the balls is a better option. 😛

im sorry if this thread offended any cowboys fans

i keep forgetting how sensitive crybaby losers can be sorry guys

And that 15 yard penalty didn't affect the game. That potential 72 yard TD drop by TO hurt but they lost the game because of a botched field goal. You can try to put everything on TO for every loss if you want to but, 11 penalties totaling 150+ yards is what did the Cowboys in. With those yards and that play at the end they just gave the game away.

But if he catches that ball there is no need for a field goal to be blocked. Think about that. If you think that the penalty didn't affect the game you are wrong. It affects field position. There is no getting around that.

You can say a lot of what ifs. What if the Cowboys kicked a field goal instead of going for two? What if they converted the two pointer? What if the Cowboys challeneged the safety call when it was obvious J. Jones was out of the endozne? What if Roy Williams catches that interception? What if the Cowboys don't blow the field goal? What if the refs called a 5 yard penalty, which it should have been, instead of a 15 yard penalty? The Cowboys as a team made mistakes. You people hate TO so much that you want to blame him for everything but, it's the team that makes mistakes and he is part of it.

But you did not answer my question, if the Jets suck ( as you say ) and I have agreed with you then where does the Dallas team stand??? They have the same exact record as the Jets. You claim that the Jets will suck this season, but Dallas is in the same pile of poop that the Jets are in. Does Dallas suck too???

Right now at 4-4 the Cowboys playing like an average team. They have all the talent but mistakes are holding them back. The difference between the Jets and Cowboys is that Dallas can beat the top teams. They won't get blown out at home or on the road by any team. You can't really compare the Jets with the Cowboys because they don't have the same schedule. The Jets play bad teams and still won't make the playoffs. The Patriots already have that division locked up.

You won't make the playoffs either. This team has talent you are right, but with B.O. you guys were talking Super Bowl. Well you really should be thinking Tidy Bowl now. :ermm: You lost to a bad team yesterday. You lost to a Giants team at home two weeks ago. If you were really that good, you would not be 1-3 in your division. So tell me, you said the Eagles at the start of the year were a bad team, didn't you lose to them??? The Redskins were 2-5 and they beat you. You have been losing to bad teams. The Jets have been beaten by the Colts who you will lose to in a couple of weeks. We lost one bad game to Jacksonville but you were also beat by Jacksonville who then lost to the Texans so who is to say. Are we saying that the Texans are a good team because they beat Jacksonville??? How about the fact that the Texans actually outplayed the Giants a team who destroyed you at home. Let's be fair, your team is garbage just like the Jets are garbage. You will finish 7-9 and the Jets will finish the same. Only difference is the Jets have an upside. They have a young team. You just have a bunch of guys who want to sleep in the endzone and cause 15 yard penalties to your team. Hope that money was spent wisely.

True, but the cowboys are 1-3 in the division. They still have to play the Saints, Giants, Colts, and Falcons. The Cowboys have yet to beat a team with a winning record. The Giants are going to take the decision. They might luck out and get into the sixth play off spot, but I doubt it. They have some good talent on the team, but they are a playoff caliber team.

You really make me laugh. Seriously. Reading this just made me laugh.

Right now as it stands there are five teams with a better record than the Cowboys. Of those five the Cowboys play three, N.O., N.Y. and Atl. There are four other teams tied with Dallas at 4-4. The Cowboys beat one of them, Carolina, and still must play Philadelphia again. The other two teams, St. Louis and Minnesota, will most likely fall of completely by mid December. If the Cowboys get it together, which I expect them to, then they shouldn't finish this season with less than 10 wins. Five of the last eight are at home and Tony Romo is playing well. By the time the second game vs the Giants rolls around it could possibly be for the lead in the division.

Amazing how I can get a couple of quotes from you and have fun with it. If B.O. does not drop that pass you would be 5-3 and not 4-4. That is fact. No matter how poorly you played, you would be 5-3 because you would not have needed a field goal that eventually gets blocked. Lets face facts, I would rather lose a game big than lose the game the way you did to Washington. But if you think that B.O. didn't cost you the game ultimately then you are not paying attention. I think even Natural has stopped defending him. Because he is finding out he is more of a distraction than this team needs. If you are a good player you DON'T take 15 yard penalites. You don't drop easy passes as he has ALL YEAR LONG!!! But this isn't about B.O. Your whole team is having issues. It is not just B.O. But don't expect to make the playoffs. You will lose 8 or 9 games this season. Good luck in 2007. 😀

So it wasn't the two pointer? It wasn't the 150+ penalty yards. And it sure as hell wasn't the 35 yard field goal. It's all on T.O., no matter what. I understand now.

"Whooped"???

A three-point win might be considered a "whooping" in hockey, but certainly not in football, especially when the 'Skinnies caught a huge break with that bogus "fifteen yard" face mask penalty. I would personally call the FIRST Cowboys-Redskins matchup this year a whooping (which I believe the 'BOYS were victorious in), and in any event it's a teensy feather in the Redskins' '06 cap, which at this juncture kinda looks like a beanie. Ol' Joe needs to go back to NASCAR, and take Terrell Owens with him (PLEASE).

If you make the 2 pointer or if you go for one you still lose on the firld goal my friend. I already admitted that the rest of the team sucked especially with the 150 plus yards in penalites. But B.O. contributed 10 percent of those yards on penalties and dropped the pass that would have been the difference between the win and a loss. Let's think about it, had he caught the pass it would have been a 26-19 game. So the Redskins would not have been going for a field goal to win the game. Do you understand??? You paid this guy to be a difference maker. My question is, has he??? But I will be fair Fiend, this team would stink with him or without him. But without him, you guys wouldn't be a target to the media, there would be less drama. Tell me if you agree with any of that.
