Retract = pulling claws into the paw.

Extend = pushing out the claws.

I brought my claws into my paws to avoid slicing you up with them.

My bad, I read the post wrong. It makes sense now. When I first read your post, I did find it odd why or how you'd tickle me with claws. XD Thanks for the clarification. Oh and:
