Ok, Ok I know what your thinking I have really lost it. Way too much medication...perhaps. However this thread has nothing to do with war, politics, or religion therefore has zero flame potential. Also that means it probably won't get pulled unless the moderators think its just way too crazy. Thus I decided to lighten things up with this the Orange Marmalade thread. Feel free to discuss anything you wish about orange marmalade. Now I don't want posts about how orange marmalade proves the existence of God or that the president is inciting war in the middle east to please the giant marmalade lobbies. I want some recipes. How do you enjoy your orange marmalade? Can you make it go rancid by staring at it like I can? Stuff like that. Enjoy. It was our friend Orange Marmalade that first taught me that a "PAMPLEMOUSSE" is not some deadly, carnivorous cousin to the gentle tundra roaming moose so common in the Great White North.

Au contraire, it's simply the French word for grapefruit. It's a shame that I didn't learn this earlier... I might not have been "traumatized" as a young child by my father who insisted on "attacking" my brother and I with the jar of marmalade.

I am going to write to my Congressman about the "gross neglect of apples and other fruits in Marmalade".

The "Only oranges need apply" laws have got to go. This is a classic case of fruit discrimination.

Maybe I can convince Jesse Jackson or Jesse Helms to take the case to the Supreme Courts.

The days of turning away other fruits, in favor of oranges, is gone

Thank you cleopatra2003. Did I mention that orange marmalade is very healthy and nutritious and should be part of everyones diet.
