^ should know that a really big, long sandwich like that has those different special names here. (And I forgot one, it's called a "po'boy" which is a contraction for "poor boy" in New Orleans.)
 
^ should know that we have about half a dozen regional dialects here with varied usages. Somebody from the deep South (Mississippi or Alabama) is often less comprehensible to me that somebody from London.
 
^ would probably have trouble following the speech of a person from Mississippi, too, if they had a strong regional accent. 😀
 
^ is a lifelong and loyal Cubs fan, but may have stopped watching them this season.
