I like Curly and Shemp equally. The shorts were written a bit differently when Shemp came in; more verbal gags, I think. I believe this represents a change in America as much as a change in Stooges; Curly was a Stooge in the Great Depression and World War Two, while Shemp was during the boomtown America of postwar 40s and 50s.

Does anyone with the capability of making screen caps have a copy of "Blunder Boys", Shemp's last short (not counting the four remade after his death, with a double shot from the back)?

Could be, i heard that Shemp hated the slap stick stuff and that was why he left the act and was replaced by Curly.

Unless I'm mistaken, that beautiful blonde pictured with Shemp is Christine MacIntyre (who's almost as pretty as Lynnie-poo.) She played in many episodes, my favorite of which is Hugs-n-Mugs, in which Shemp gets sadistically tickled by the incredibly hot Nanette Bordeaux.

Absolutely correct, Drew. He and Christine MacIntyre were great friends and she once stated that she always looked forward to working with Shemp. She was comfortable with him. She was in so many of their short films, she could be considered the fifth Stooge. I will try to attach my favorite audio of them lovingly working together.

I remember "Hugs and Mugs", Nanette was an incredible evil 'ler. That line.... "Oh, so you don't like to be tickled!"
