So I'm curious some of you older folks out there, how did you get your fix before the internet came about?
 
Leg Show magazine as well as some of the foot fetish and tickling related mags that you found in porn shops in the 80's & 90's.
 
Penthouse Forum Variations magazine sometimes had tickling letters and articles. There were tickling mags in the XXX stores and some of the stores carried videos. And we shared our wonderful love of tickling with people when it was appropriate.
 
The age I started actually looking for pictures and videos online, was when there was already plenty available, so I've become really spoiled. I imagine that for people who were tickle-fetishists before material was widely available, anything tickle-related was like gold. And then there's people like me who have so much to choose from since the beginning, that I'm like a video snob. I want specific body parts, etc. However, I do remember that the first time I actually went online specifically to look for tickling stuff, I was wide-eyed, jaw-dropped, "oh-my-god-look-what-I-found", in a total state of euphoria. /rambling
 
I was lucky; the Internet was booming well before I discovered that I liked tickling. When I first started looking on the Internet, I do remember being amazed at just how much stuff there was.

So if I interpret what you wrote about the first time you found tickling stuff online, it means your love of tickling was already wired into your DNA and finding tickling stuff just fed that desire? Rather than you coming upon tickling stuff and that was the moment you started getting interested in tickling? It is the old question, were you born with the tickle desire or did you acquire it once exposed to stuff about tickling? Sounds to me like you were born with it.
 
I remember being a wee lad and tickling the fuck out of girls I liked "because it's fun". But finding stories and pictures about it later on was neat too.

I was absolutely 100% born with it. I know this because tickling turned me on even as young as 3. Any time I saw it, even on tv or read about it or heard about it, I felt so weird inside. I felt like I had to 'relieve' myself, and I did what felt right, and then I felt better. I had NO idea what masturbating was, or that that's what I was doing. When I hit the age of being interested in boys, I always fantasized about tickling them. I would daydream about tickling guys I had crushes on. So yes, I would definitely say it is in my DNA!
 
As someone whose fetish predates the net considerably, I remmeber ordering a catalog from May Bird (don't know if they're even still in busines). At that time I was still living at home, and was so paranooid about being "discovered" that I printed out the whole thing on my dot matrix printer and refused to write anything on the sheet for fear of my handwriting being recognized. The company must have known this, because they cut out my address from the sheet and used that on the envelope.
 
Considering that I had to be three or four when I began my love of tickling, how I got my "fix" evolved over the years. In my youngest memories, I just tickled my childhood buddy whenever I got the chance. As I grew, I had a nephew that was only about 7 years younger than me who became a favorite target along with his sisters. One thing that I found was at that age, girls would usually cry or tattle on you if you tickled them. So, until I reached puberty, boys were a better target. Around 12 - 13 girls became much more fun! Also, rare occasions I would see tickling on TV. Then there was the nylon section in the Sears catalogs. In my later teens, most all of my g/fs were subjects of my tickling fixes. Like most everyone else I was "into" tickling for as long as I can remember. In the days when a VCR cost $400 I had audio tapes that had clips of tickling from shows that I caught by holding the microphone of the recorder up to the television speaker. And even then it had to be when no one else was in the house so I could use one of the two televisions we had! 😱

Some time in high school I found Penthouse Variations and that led to finding other "porn" mags that had any reference to tickling at all in them...sometimes just because they had a barefoot lady on the cover. After that I would graduate to "Leg Show" or any of the bondage mags and then on to the $50 videos(!) that you could rent by putting all the cash down and then getting $45.00 back if you returned it the next day! :wowzer:

Back in the 1970's, I used to search for tickling related material in adult book stores without much success. Finally House of Milan began to publish "Tied and Tickled" magazine, which was very much welcome. 😀
 
Yep. Earliest tickling memory is at 5, trying to tickle and be tickled ever since. I remember the first video I saw online, a little demo clip about 30 seconds long that I watched countless times. Now a search turns up hundreds of clips of all lengths. Lucky us.

Well, I didn't have internet until I was 17 lol. Does that count as "before the internet" even though it was around... I just never had a chance to go on it as a kid lol... And well to get my fix, was, I tickled people. I tickled people more as a kid than I do right now lol.
 
I tried to instigate tickle fights (until it was decided that was "weird"). Penthouse Forum/Variations were AWESOME finds. Rowr. 😀

Before the internet. Finding tickling stuff was impossible, but Im also a foot fetishist, so all "porn" I found was just from random magazines where there was pictures of barefoot girls.
The first tickle fix I can remeber was the famous tickle scene with April O'Neil on Turtles (I was a hardcore Turtles fan as a youngling).

Internet was the best thing to ever happend 😀
 
Before the Internet was commonly available I would go to porn shops and try to find tickling related magazines. They were hard to find, but they were out there.
Later I got my own P.O. Box at the post office so I could mail order the magazines (House of Milan, Tied & Tickled) and VHS tapes ( Solefully Yours, etc.). I even placed an ad in a local alternative weekly magazine looking for ticklish women. I actually met a couple of women that way.
In 1995 I signed on to AOL and found the Tickling chat room and the Usenet Newsgroup alt.binaries.multimedia.erotic.tickling as well as other groups.

I think we are kind of spoiled now, being able to see thousands of free images in an matter of seconds, but I like being spoiled!
 
Before the web, it was rough, but when you did see something in the mainstream media or in your immediate midst, it made it all the more special. My formative years were the '70s, when my tickling fetish began through a general foot fetish when I was very young. It wasn't sexual until adolescence. I'll never forget The Night. I was 15, and it was 1985. I was up late on a Saturday night watching some trippy alternative media show (not Night Flight), and they did a segment on weird Japanese game shows.
