I often wonder how long it takes Joey Chestnut to recover from that contest. Can he eat a normal dinner at 7pm after winning at 1pm?

I would hope he would skip a few meals and give his body a chance to recoop.

It's less money than I thought.

First place: $10,000
Second place: $5,000
Third place: $2,500
Fourth place: $1,500
Fifth place: $1,000

That is for each of the men's and women's competitions, so the grand total is only $40,000 given out to ten people.

Yea that's not a lot of money. Would hardly cover medical bills I would think.

Everyone has their own dietary quirks. I certainly have mine. I don't think it's that odd especially for those who are trying to eat healthier.

I just don't like the taste at all...I'm kind of a picky eater.

I use to like sauerkraut on mine. That I thought was pretty good.

I love Kim chi too. Even though it's basically rotten cabbage with chili peppers. 😛

I like strawberries but I can't stand cherries. Lol. Everyone is different I guess. Keeps the world interesting 😛
