September weather has been quite good so far here in NYC. ☀️
 
Better off it cools off in September some and warms up in October and November when the averages get chillier...
 
I do not want snow before Thanksgiving (which happens occasionally here).

In my lifetime in NYC, the earliest snow we ever had was October 30th, the day before Halloween. The latest snow we ever had was April 9th, over two weeks past the beginning of Spring.

Both of those are just plain weird. Lol.

We did have one heat wave at Christmas where it was 95. The joke was Santa had shorts and flip flops on. Lol.
 
I would prefer 95°F at Christmas to a blizzard in October.
 
Very true. Christmas is close to the shortest day of the year so sunset comes early. 🌇
