I had never heard of those stone spheres. They probably had religious significance for the people who created them, but, in any case, they were an excellent engineering feat given the lack of technology at that time.

The spheres are perfect in every way and highly polished I think as well. Certainly a grand feat of engineering like you said. It just always cracks me up that everyone always thinks must be aliens lol.

I believe that is because many people confuse lack of technology with lack of intelligence.
I would tell them that the Maya (whose empire was roughly from 2000 BC to 1500 AD, peaking in about 1000 AD) had little technology, but they could do astronomical mathematical calculations better than any European until the 19th century.

Exactly right my friend. I definitely agree. The Mayans excelled at math and astronomy. The Costa Rican society here was pretty good at engineering and likely math as well.

Sounds crazier to me that aliens would travel thousands of light years to create some round rocks

Yes, let's give the actual human beings who were here thousands of years ago some credit for having, among them, some geniuses and some highly creative people.

I know a lot of engineers from the field I work in...some are amazing. My dad was an engineer too.

Yea my cousin is an engineer too. Actually worked at Space X for a long time. It's a great job I think.

I went into chemistry as a synthetic organic chemist cause its like building new things with tiny building blocks. Sort of like a mini engineer lol

Nice Kurch...so I have something sort of strange...random but the day after my grandmother passed in 2009 I was on the phone with my mom talking to her about my grams...and suddenly my mom says the tv is changing by itself several channels (maybe from like 2 up to 7) and landed on channel 7 and it was the noon hour and the news was on and my grandmother watched the channel 7 noon and evening news everyday. Weird huh?

Only thing like that I experienced. Was after my first stroke I just kept sleeping cause I could not see anything with my eyes opened. I guess I hope sleep would fix everything. I swear I heard my mom's voice say "Wake up Daniel" ... course mom had passed away 2 months earlier, I did wake up and call my cousin who took me to the doctor.

Definitely. I don't pretend to know everything or blindly believe one thing about an after-life etc. but I do definitely believe there is more to it than this current form we live in.

Yea i would agree with that. Just have to be careful. Many take advantage of those who have lost loved ones by pretending to communicate with them. I think it does happen but only very rarely.

Yeah I don't go to those people lol...not saying some of them aren't legit but I know some of them are simply trying to make money. They ask you questions and as soon as they hit on something they see you react they keep going with that. There's a lot of scams out in the world...most of the phone calls I get on my cell and emails I get are scams 🙂.

They ask you questions and as soon as they hit on something they see you react they keep going with that. There's a lot of scams out in the world...most of the phone calls I get on my cell and emails I get are scams 🙂.

There are a few legit ones...but only a very very few.

Yea I get like 30 spam phone calls a day. Even more spam emails. Likely after I die I will still be getting spam lol.

Very very true. AI voice is very good now... not like a robot voice but sounding very human. So yes scams will be automated believable and super scary.

Yes, it gotten so that I don't take phone calls unless it is from somebody on my contact list. Even then, somebody might be able to spoof the origin of the call to be from a contact.

And yes they are getting very tricky in disguising calls.

Yes quite true. Almot at the point where you can have fake people. Just AI generated peeps to replace real people. It's getting strange out there.
