The Strange Things Thread

Walking around Manhattan, it is not hard to find overtly crazy people who rant in public. :crazy:
 
Is it strange to you for people to have their Christmas lights up already?
 
Some people never take them down. I leave my Xmas tree up all year. It's only 2 ft tall so it's not a big deal. Just easier with my eyesight to leave it up rather then taking it down and redoing it.
 
My mom has an ornament up all year. Sometimes I forget it's there.
 
The last new movie that I saw that I liked was Barbie (2023) and the reason that I liked it was the barefoot scenes that Margot Robbie did. :feets:
 
Stephen King wrote a book with that title so it's likely based on the book.
 
It's about a group of people who are chosen to walk and not stop. If you stop you get killed. The last person who isn't dead is the survivor and gets to choose any prize.

Interesting idea for a story.
 
You really get into the characters. They start walking within 5 minutes of the movie and I was thinking are they seriously going to walk and talk the whole movie? This is going to be terrible...and it turned out to be exactly that except not terrible but amazingly good I thought.

Awesome. I love when you think a movie is going to be bad and it end up being really good. Pi was like that for me.
