Just the thought of a needle going into my eye makes me cringe. 😱

Unfortunately, I the ophthalmologist said that I have cataracts growing.

They will need surgery in a couple of hears, which I dread.

I have had cataract surgery on both eyes.

It really not bad at all so don't worry about it

It's just sounds really bad, it's easier then eye injections I think,

That is very reassuring.

I don't look forward to any surgery.

Things can always go wrong, even with a good surgeon.

I have to clean up today for my brother's arrival on Monday from San Diego.

I also need to do my usual errands.

Amtrak sometimes really stinks.

On Monday, my train left NYC 75 late and arrived in Massachusetts 90 minutes late.

They never even apologized for their lousy service.

Christmas is still the most special time of year for my family.

I'm thankful that we continue to celebrate it bigger than most people do.

It's nice to have a few things that get more special over time instead of less special.
