Being sick sucks

Amazing how many things can go wrong with you.

Sometimes I am amazed how all these parts manage to work at all.

My brother, who is a retired physician, once told me that there are over a hundred obscure fatal diseases that I've never heard about.

He added that any one of them could kill me within six months and offered to describe them to me.

I told him to shut up because ignorance is bliss with regard to unknown fatal diseases.

Yea I know a few of them from the medical research place I was at.

Dont worry I have no desire to describe any of them.

Ignorance is indeed bliss when it comes to these things.

He had other bad qualities.

One was using other people's telephones for half-hour long distance calls.

[Note, not part of three sentences: In 1969, there were no cell phones. Bell Telephone had a monopoly on phone service and charged large amounts of money for long distance calls, which were charged individually and by the minute.]

Last Saturday we had rain, snow and cold.

It felt like winter.

This Saturday we have warm and humid which feels like summer.

Sad there are people that are that nasty.

I have met a few of them.

Such people usually make their untrustworthy natures obvious soon.

Then you can avoid them.

But some untrustworthy people can be charming and fool you.

I got up easily.

I woke up several times.

I'm surprised I didn't want to sleep more after getting up later the last 4 days in a row.

I woke up much too early yesterday.

By contrast, today I slept well.

I much prefer sleeping well.

Gotta try to get more sleep

Might try cutting back on coffee

I slept a full 8 hours last night.

I didn't wake up until almost 8am.

That's very unusual for me.

A tree fell on me today that I was trying to help

Tree had thorns and hot me in the head so there was lots of blood.

Fortunately me and the tree are OK.

Thorns hurt.

But you are recovering quickly it sounds like.
