Mookie Betts ended his home run drought last night!

His 2-run, go-ahead home run was crucial to the Dodges' victory.

I hope this means he has broken out of his slump.

The Dodgers won last night, 9-1.

Blake Snell allowed no runs and struck out 10 batters in just 5 innings pitched.

I hope he continues to pitch that well.

So, they will play a doubleheader today. ⚾ ⚾

Each game will be only 7 innings.

That's the rule in the Minor Leagues.

The Cyclones split their double header yesterday.

After losing the first game, the second game was looking bad as well, with two outs and nobody on base in the bottom of the last inning.

Then, there followed a triple, a walk, and a walk-off three-run home run!

Kershaw was the starting pitcher whose performance was key to the victory.

The Dodgers beat the Pondscum last night, 6-0.

That clinched the season series (13 games) because it was the Dodgers' 7th victory against them.

That is very important because the winner of the season series is the first tie-breaker for the playoffs.
